Wonder vacation home

Bad weather and corona virus couldn't keep us from having a fun time!! The game room and hot tub were fantastic! We were not able to use the chairs and umbrellas or the kayak because of the cold and rain, however, we played pool and poker and other games! Eating out wasn't possible because of restrictions so we cooked a lot! Everything we needed was there. The lighting was very low but we managed just fine. All in all a very entertaining place!

" I want to go back to the island"

As Buffett fans this was the perfect house for us! We were a party of 7, with 4 teen boys. This house allowed everyone to spread out and not feel on top of each other. The furnishings and decor in this house made it one of the best we have stayed in. The game room was perfect for the teens each night. The pool area was so pretty though it would have been better if the dolphin fountains had worked. We enjoyed lounging at pool after a day on the beach. We used the hot tub once, but it was a little too hot. The pool guy did help get the temp down a little. The house had all the cooking supplies we needed. There is a gas grill out back, we didnt use but looked to be in decent shape. The beds were all comfortable. There were extra boogie boards and skim boards in garage which was nice. It is a little further to beach then we were used to. It was an easy bike ride. none of us walked it. we would drive the surf boards and gear down and if no parking spot drive back to house and bike back, so it wasn't bad at all. there always seemed to be a parking spot on Plover after 2pm, early in the day they fill up quick. This was our first time in Duck, we did love it and it was easy walk into village. The beach seemed smaller than what we were used to down in South Nags Head but we were still able to spread out enough and not feel on top of other beach goers. Lots of options for take out, restaurants with outdoor seating. We had a great week at the Palace, thank you!!

Wonderful week at the beach!

My family had a lovely time staying at the Tin Cup Palace. We enjoyed gathering in the family room upstairs and hanging out in the billiards area downstairs. We made use of the pool several times and our dogs really appreciated the fully fenced backyard. Each of us had our own bedroom and bathroom, which was really nice. The downtown area of Duck is a short, pleasant walk away as is the beach access on Plover. My mother-in-law recently injured her leg and rented a golf cart to get around, which was perfect for her. We'll definitely be back :)

A great place for a large family

Tin Cup had everything we needed for our family of 9. We truly enjoyed our stay. We had 2 concerns that we told maintenence about and they came right away to fix/replace it. The elevator was such a plus for our parents who are all in their 70's. The kitchen was well stocked, the only thing was we had to wash a lot of the dishes when we arrived as they weren't clean and the sink needed a good scrubbing. The pool and hot tub were just the right temperature and clean as well. Overall it was a great week spent with our parents and adult children. Thanks so much!
