Two houses - which are also available separately from each other!

Located on a peninsula of the famous Helgasjön in Småland, with rich fish stocks, forests, rich livestock and water sports we have 2 idyllic houses for rent: The guest house overlooking the lake and the lake house right on the lake.

Horses and sheep grazing on a property, which was once owned by Gustav Vasa. Those who enjoy nature, the many animals, water and forest and bustle of everyday life will turn their backs, will find the right thing.

From Skälsnäs you can choose the most diverse experiences. Stay a week or more and take day trips to the nature of the beautiful countryside of Småland, in the sauna, make detailed fishing trips, rent a canoe for quiet rides along the shore and to the many small lakes and rivers, see Sweden's southernmost sluice in Åby with the underlying beautiful lakes and natural canals. The latter one can make especially nice with the steamer Thor, with its original steam engine from 1887 - an experience!

Fishing waters

We own 150 hectares of water for fishing around the peninsula Skälsnäs around, in the northern part of Helgasjön, after "Åsnen" Smålands second largest lake with 55 km² fishing waters and a part of "Mörrumsåns" water system. The Helgasjön we fed by springs and swamps of southern Småland highlands. The water has a high quality. The lake is quite deep, especially in the northern part, with depths up to 26 m. Conifers and deciduous forests grow down to the shores of the lake.

fish

There are a lot of crabs in Helgasjön (crayfish, crabs signal), also good for bass, which can thus develop big and strong. Furthermore, there are plenty of pike and zander. Bream, tench, roach (roach), eel, burbot (burbot) and bleak (arbor) also occur much. There is also the Helgasjön brown trout, although not as frequently.

Fishing

In winter you can go fishing from the ice perch and pike with special equipment. To catch burbot (burbot), may also have its charm in winter.

When the ice melts, the season starts for the fishing for pike, which is mainly in spring and autumn. During the summer trolling after pike, pike, perch and possibly even brook trout is very rewarding. Perch, bream, roach (roach) and bleak one starts best with the fishing rod. Crayfish are caught in August and September, which are plentiful around our peninsula around.

Fishing Rules

The deed to the fishing license enables you to fish outside our waters throughout the Helgasjön. The minimum size, if you catch a pike, trout or pike, is 40 cm. Zander may be captured by June to September. For certain sensitive areas in Helgasjön there fishing bans.

We have 2 houses to rent - in a idyllic location on a peninsula of the well-known Helgasjön in Småland - with its abundance of fish and water sport possibilities: The guesthouse with a view over the lake and the lake house on the lake itself , Horses and sheep graze on grounds once belonging to Gustavus Vasa, the founder of the Kingdom of Sweden in the 15th century.

This is just the place for All Those Wishing to turn Their backs on everyday stress and discover the joys of nature with its many animals, waters and forests.

We owe 150 ha fishing waters around the peninsula-Skälsnäs in the northern part of Helgasjön. The fishing permit for hand tackle, Which You can Buy, Allows you to fish in all of Helgasjön, Which is part of the stream Mörrumsån's water system and is Smålands second Largest lake after Åsnen. The lake has 55 km² varied fishing-waters.

Traumurlaub Schweden

  • 5 of 5
