It is not uncommon to find arrowheads and other traces of ancient stone settlements along the coast. There are also plenty of opportunities for sailing, windsurfing, fishing on the open sea, in the fjord or in put & take fishing lakes. A foot and bicycle path leads along the beach past the sailing club, the popular golf course and the Museum of Religious Art to end in the charming trading and fishing town of Lemvig with its inviting specialty stores. Should you enjoy spending a day by the rushing North Sea, a visit to the interesting Kystcenter in Thyborøn is recommended, which among other things will provide your family with experiences and knowledge about the powerful natural forces that have shaped coastal Denmark through millennia. From this wonderful vacation home it is not far to the popular destinations LEGOLAND, Givskud Zoo, Jesperhus Adventure Park or the lime mines of Mønsted.
