This pretty house is located in the authentic fishing village of Lild Strand in Jammerbugten, just 300 metres away from the beach. The terraces are located on the lee side, where you can sit sheltered and enjoy the sunlight and listen to the roar of the North Sea. This is an allergy-friendly house where you can enjoy peaceful togetherness. Here you can choose your sleeping place depending on whether you want to sleep under the starry sky or awaken with a view of the morning sunlight. You can also sleep in the alcove. Fantastic and expansive dunes spread towards the east as a direct extension of the terrace. From here you can see Bulbjerg and the 47 metre high limestone cliff which is the only bird cliff in Denmark. The house is in a secluded location and is located at the edge of the property. From here you can walk to the North Sea through the dunes. Fishing is still conducted on Lild Strand, so you can see fishing boats being hauled onto the beach everyday. You can also go fishing right on the beach or buy freshly caught fish directly from the boat. The shop Lild Røgeri, where fresh and smoked fish and other delicious meals are offered, is located in Lild Strand. Lild Strand is located in Jan Herred, a very scenic area between the sea and the fjord. The special light here has always attracted many artists. Open expanses, plenty of space, fresh air and unspoiled nature characterise this country. On sunny summer days, the North Sea with its salty swell is very tempting. The North Sea is worth a visit even in the off-season and on gray, blustery autumn days, when the salty air tastes particularly intense. The gentler landscape of Limfjord offers a sharp contrast to the rough North Sea. Limfjord is located in the vicinity of the cottage and provides nature lovers many opportunities to embark on a journey of exploration. In the dune forests you will find plenty of edible mushroom. Among the many possible excursion destinations, a trip to Bulbjerg is highly recommended. From the top of Bulbjerg you can enjoy a splendid view of the North Sea and the countryside. At the foot of the cliffs you may find many fossils, such as fossilised sea urchins. In the nearby towns of Fjerritslev and Brovst there are good shops. In the cottage area you will also see some artisans as well as galleries, potteries and glass factories, which you can visit. Good golf courses are available nearby.
