In front of the kitchen and the living room is the terrace, the kitchen terrace has morning sun and this gives a view of open fields. In this area you can take beautiful walks. Back home, you can relax in the sauna. On the Hornsherred peninsula there are many child-friendly bathing beaches. There is enough space for everyone to enjoy the outdoor life all year round, whether the sun is shining from a cloudless sky or the autumn storms are raging. For fishing enthusiasts, Vellerup Vig is a good body of water to catch pollack (dinghies are rented) and there are good opportunities to catch garfish on Roskilde Fjord at Crown Prince Frederiks Bro (remember to buy a fishing license). Frederikssund is a small cozy town with good shopping facilities. The town holds annual Viking Games, at the festive end of which you can join the table in Valhalla with good food and entertainment.
