Enjoy the expansive ocean views from every corner of this Ali'i Kai I ocean bluff condo in the luxury Princeville Resort community. This condo is an end unit w/wrap around lanai & no stairs even though you are a level above ground, giving you the convenience of a ground level and the privacy of an upper level. There is a rocky coast, 60 feet or so, directly below the condo with easily approachable sandy beaches within a mile. This prime Princeville location is peaceful & serene with ocean breezes, spectacular sunsets and sunrises, and 180 degree views from every room. In the summer months, conditions permitting, you can snorkel on the reef below the condo. In the winter months, you can watch the whales frolic and play. The unit is 'turnkey' (all linens, towels, cookware, dishes, beach items are included). Our piece of paradise is meticulously maintained and each year the unit is upgraded in some way.
In fact, our views, location, property condition and pricing earned Hollys Kauai Condo a recommendation from USA Today Travel Tips and Lonely Planet! (see REVIEWS)

The number of returning Guests grows year over year and the average length of their stay is over twice as long as first time visitors:
Whale Watching : The whale watching season is from November through March when the whales migrate to the warm Hawaiian waters to birth their young. The humpbacks are seen as early as October and as late as April.
At the Hollys Kauai Condo, you can watch the whales frolic from every room. We have experienced the most activity mid morning and mid afternoon when the sun is at an angle. It is quite a sight to see. Book our condo during whale season and enjoy the show!

We live in Arizona, which might be considered the near polar opposite of Kauai. While we enjoy the company and interaction of others, Kauai and our property offer the opportunity to feel alone in a tropical Paradise, or to interact with others, as one chooses. We swim competitively, dive, snow ski, hike and generally enjoy the beauty of nature. Kauai offers everything from the most peaceful pursuits to the most physically exhilarating challenges. Its your choice. There is a reason that Kauai is pictured as 'Paradise', in so many Hollywood movies. Visit Kauai, The Garden Island, and your life will never be the same.
Alan Holly purchased this condo in 1988
In a nut shell, we fell in love with this incredibly beautiful island along with the sounds, sights and fragrances of Kauai, which surrounds our condo. We have the sensation of serenity and, virtually, being alone, yet minutes from everything. Kauai is the Hawaii of our dreams.
1) Spectacular ocean view from EVERY ROOM!
2) Ground level entrance to a 2nd level location, but NO STAIRS. The convenience of a ground level property AND the privacy and view of a 2nd level location.

Holly's Condo really was a perfect choice for us. I found the apartment to be kid friendly - no accidents or discomforts at all. The sand toys were well used, as well as the snorkeling gear. To be honest we were a tad skeptical about choosing a condo over a resort, but we were pleased to find that we were wrong, because it was a hundred times more comfortable and spacious than any four star hotels we've stayed at. We immediately felt at home. Not to mention the curbside appeal - I mean come on...
On our recent trip to Hawaii, my wife and I spent a few days in Honolulu, then a week on the Pride of America cruise ship, and finally ended with a week at Holly's Kauai Condo. This time on Kauai was without question the best part of the trip.
Situated on the edge of the Princeville cliffs on the north shore, the Holly's property has one of the best views on the island. Falling asleep to the sound of the ocean waves each night and waking up each morning to a nearly 180 degree ocean view was a pure pleasure.
The condo was clean, well kept, and stocked with everything we could have wanted. While not formally ADA compliant, my wife was also able to navigate well in her wheelchair, as advertised, for which we were thankful. And the wifi and cable were both rock solid (as we had to catch the Cubs in the NLCS and World Series!)
Given the cliffside location, it's obviously not a beachfront property, but it's in a quiet condo complex with a mix of full-time and vacationing residents. Perfect for a getaway, and there are literally dozens of beaches within a 15 min drive. If you want the full-on tourist beach experience, it's just down the road at Hanalei Bay. That area can get busy, but both the mountain valley and the bay itself are truly breathtaking.
If we're ever able to go back to Hawaii, we'd definitely go straight to Kauai, and we'd stay at Holly's Kauai Condo again in a heartbeat. Couldn't be happier.
We spent two weeks in Alan & Vicki's condo. We needed a condo that was easily accessible but did not want one on the first floor. This one was perfect. There were no steps to climb but the way it is situated it is like to you are on a second floor so the view was spectacular. It was clean and had everything that we needed. The lanai was great. Both bedrooms had a view of the ocean and the breezes were wonderful at night. Alan & Vicki were very attentive to our needs. We would definitely recommend it even if you have someone with special needs. (Finding a condo with an elevator is very hard.) Had no problem finding things to do even with limited walking ability. Most places and attractions are very accommodating. Loved your island. We will be back.

Everything went smoothly, Kauai is an amazing island and the stay was amazing. The service was excellent and they were happy to recommend places to visit and activities. I highly recommend hiking at Ke'e Beach to overlook the Napali coast if you visit.
The property is easy to find, and has plenty of amenities. Everything was clean and well maintained. The view was incredible and we could whale watch from the window. Definitely a great thing to wake up to. Hanalei is only a short drive away, the condo is close to many neat areas. I would love to stay here again!
This was our 4th trip to Kauai and we can say this is the best place we have stayed and will now be our forever spot!!! Not only is the Holly's condo as presented, clean, comfortable, great location, views, pool, everything you would expect from a condo, it is more. They have take great care on the little things to make sure your stay is comfortable. It truly feels like you are borrowing a friends home with the little things such a letter before you arrive welcoming you, nice things to borrow such as a cooler, chairs and snorkel gear, to making sure your stay is very comfortable. I have seen other posts complaining about things such as low toilet paper. Just as you would if you were borrowing a friends home if small things happen, even though you know they took great care to avoid them, contact Alan & Vicki and they will have it immediately taken care of. In fact during our trip we shared photos and adventures with them just as we would a long lost friend. Truly a great place and great people.
Hollys' condo is on a cliff in Princeville directly overlooking the ocean with nothing blocking the view. This is NOT an on-the-beach condo but an excellent property for those looking for a restful unencumbered vacation on Kaua'i. The large two-bedroom two-bath condo is fully equipped with all amenities, including the kitchen. Cook in or eat out at numerous restaurants in Princeville and Hanalei. A direct walk into the condo from the close parking lot is a real benefit when lugging suitcases or market goodies. Excellent cross ventilation with many jalousied windows. A nice deck off the living room accessible through sliding door and screen door. There is nothing missing here to ensure your comfort. Bottom line: we've been vacationing on Kaua'I for over 30 years straight. This condo is not inexpensive but well worth it. Na Pali Properties, an outstanding agency in Hanalei, handles it. Give it a consideration.
The best thing about this property is the location. The kitchen and bathrooms need serious remodleing. There's a reason no pictures are shown of the bathrooms. Spiders living in webs behind a toilet. Not good! Burned out lightbulbs (no extras), one spare roll of t.p. and one dryer sheet for a 10 day stay? Lots of noise from neighbors above. Defiantly not what we expected. The island is awesome.
