This lovely home with saltwater pool and beautiful garden is located at the end of the long avenue leading to the owner's magnificent castle. The lovingly renovated property has inviting outdoor areas for al fresco dining. Some of the bedrooms on the upper floor benefit from en-suite bathrooms. An archway takes you from the garden to the pool, and it's just a few minutes to the beach by the river. The beautiful gardens surrounding the castle invite quiet strolls. History buffs should not miss visiting the castles in the area, such as that of Beynac or Castelnaud.

Please note that: Bed linen and towels are not included in the room rate in 2025; guests have to rent them at the property for an additional charge of EUR 20.00 per person. Consumption costs are included in the room rate. Outdoor private pool on site is open mid May - end August.

Older and a bit derelict

The house has a beautiful position, really close to Domme and Vitrac. The pool is amazing and perfect for hot summer days. Unfortunately the house itself would need a little bit more care and love. The sewage system is not in a good condition, it got smelly in the bathrooms and the kitchen sink wasn't working properly. There is no heating system in the house (which is not a problem during the summer) but the thing is the radiators were taken down in the whole house and the tubes were left protruding from the walls. The third bedroom is really small and doesn't look comfortable, it has no window and the furniture seemed to be to old to be used anymore. I also wished there was a newer fridge in the kitchen, the current one was smelly and on all the time - probably really not economical. It all felt a little bit abandoned. However, the keeper was really nice and friendly to us and we had a nice time.
