Why Donna chose Top of the Hill

Situated at the top of Historic Hill, this property was the perfect location for us. We love to walk and are within walking distance of the harbor, the cliff walk, and the many great restaurants on Broadway..

Beautiful Condo, Exceptional Location

My husband and I stayed in this fantastic unit during the month of August. The condo is located in an historic building that is perfectly maintained. The unit itself is quite large, beautifully decorated with a Victorian flair, extremely clean, with all the amenities of home. Great bathroom, fully equipped kitchen, washer-dryer in building, comfortable living room with nice flatscreen television and great Bose sound system. The location is wonderful: easy walking distance to Easton's Beach, downtown and Cliff Walk. We walked everywhere, and just parked our car in the space provided with the unit, and left it! It is also quiet at night. Even during one of the busiest weekends of the year---Labor Day weekend---the estate remained peaceful. The property owners were exceptionally gracious and understanding, and provided everything we needed. This is a quality rental, ideal for a single person or a couple looking for a quiet place in the heart of Newport.

Great location and a beautiful space

We had a lovely stay on Kay Street. It was a very spacious and comfortable unit. We were able to walk to Thames, Cliff Walk, and a variety of other places. The location was great and Ubers cost less than $10 to get to anywhere when we didn't want to walk.

We arrived on Friday after a torturous drive through terrible weather and were warmly greeted by Donna. She was so sweet and had some snacks waiting for us in the unit. After giving us a tour she brought up some wine and my husband and I were able to unwind and relax the rest of weekend.

Donna and Robert went above and beyond to make our stay wonderful.

Location and Sophistication

From first contact with Donna, I was impressed. Her responsiveness to questions was quick and informative. My husband and I decided to book for a week, and we are very happy we did! Not only is this property in the heart of downtown, but it is very chic and sophisticated in decor and offered high end apartment accoutrements.

The overall property is located within walking distance of popular restaurants, shopping, and waterfront. We parked and walked to everything throughout our stay. It was an absolute plus. The rental apartment is located on the third floor, but is extremely private and spacious. The pictures and description of this property are exactly as advertised. What was a special treat was how welcoming Donna and Robert were when we arrived. They treated us to wine and even sought out gluten free beer for my husband. Additionally, Donna leaves snacks in the apartment, coffee K cups, and toiletries if you forget or run out. How impressive is that? While friendly and helpful with tips on where to explore, they also provided privacy.

Donna absolutely accomplished her vision for a high-end trendy apartment in the heart of Newport. Everything from the rugs, furniture, appliances, and comfortable bed made our stay absolutely perfect. If I could I would have stolen the duvet cover! It was soft and lovely. We hope to stay again when in Newport.

Comfortable boutique apartment in great location

We enjoyed a lovely stay at Donna and Rob's property over the weekend! Both are gracious hosts who are very warm and welcoming. We were even greeted with a glass of our favorite wine at the door! The rental apaetment is located in their house on the 3rd floor and is very private. It is beautifully decorated and had everything that we needed. We were happy and comfortable. Also, we thought it was an ideal location because you can walk to downtown and the waterfront. We would definitely stay here again!
