Welcome to this spacious cottage with large, sunny and screened terrace along with great views of the graceful Sognefjord. There is a network of hiking trails leading through forest and mountains. The area is also good for kayak paddling and cycling. Visit the village of Vangsnes with its Fridtjov statue, to whose construction Kaiser Wilhelm II once contributed greatly. The villages of Balestrand and Sogndal and the Nærøyfjord (UNESCO) are also worth a visit. Ride the famous Flåms Railway, whose starting station is near the Lærdal Tunnel, the longest road tunnel in the world (24.5 km).

Superlocatie met ontzettend mooi uitzicht.

Alleen al voor het uitzicht op het Sognefjord is deze locatie geweldig. Het huis is van alle gemakken voorzien. Supervriendelijke ontvangst.

quietness and fabulous view all around

Very good experience . Sight from the house as breathtaking as on the photograph , property comfortable enough to get through wet periods , generous welcome gift from the owner , plenty of available sherries in the garden .. the cons would regard teenagers' activities : no tennis court , few biking trails ( vs plenty of hiking ) , no wifi ..but all in all a good experience for him too!
