Within reach, the vacationer can choose from all imaginable activities: Golf, tennis, windsurfing, hang gliding and much more. The sport fisherman can prove his talent on organized deep-sea trips or fish in one of the many put & take lakes as well as in the Fish and Family Park West in Hee near Ringkøbing, where the other members of the family will also have plenty of opportunities to enjoy themselves. If the weather is more conducive to a museum visit, you can check out the interesting collection of vintage aircraft at Stauning Airport or the St. George Stranding Museum in the charming fishing village of Thorsminde. The latter can display an exquisite collection of rare items from English warships, including wreckage from the two warships that sank in 1811 with 1400 men.
