The beach at Thyborøn is regarded as one of Denmark's best. Here, where you can swim in the North Sea protected by coastal defences, meaning everyone can enjoy the benefits of Mother Nature's biggest swimming pool. These charming luxury cottages are located at Thyborøn Camp Site, which occupies a unique location between the sea and the fjord, and is within walking distance of the beach. With the clean and unspoiled countryside right on the doorstep, a relaxed walking trip in the dunes is always a popular option. For keen anglers, these cottages are the perfect choice, as the sea, the fjord, the rare moler rocks and the coastal defences all offer good fishing spots. Alternatively, you can buy freshly-caught fish and other delights from the local harbour. The camp site itself offers activities such as petanque, tennis and mini golf. Two large indoor sports halls provide opportunities for numerous activities all year round, including tennis, football, handball, table tennis, badminton, volleyball and roller skating. Alternatively, you can sculpt your body at the onsite fitness centre. The town of Thyborøn and the surrounding region are packed with sights and attractions suitable for the whole family including the Fishing & Rescue Museum, Thyborøn's old town fortifications, and the 'Snail House', a fascinating house decorated with millions of shells. Also well worth a visit is the 'Old Smithy' , an exciting art centre, the Jutland Aquarium and the Coastal Centre, a large nature centre and 'exploratorium' on the edge of the North Sea (holiday home guests enjoy discounts at the latter two attractions). This welcoming region also boasts numerous good restaurants and small charming shops offering a wide variety of goods.

The beach in Thyborøn rightly deserves the title of being one of the best swimming beaches in Denmark. Here the North Sea lies shielded by groynes and isthmuses, like a large, natural swimming pool and for the special enjoyment of all. These cozy luxury camping cabins consist of a kitchen-living room, 2 bedrooms, a small bathroom and a Hems. Enjoy the beautiful summer evenings on the covered terrace.
From the site you can easily reach the beach on foot, because Thyborøn campsite has a unique location right between the sea and the fjord. With a pure and unspoiled nature right outside the door, relaxing walks across the dunes are very tempting. For sport fishermen this house is ideal, because here you can fish just everywhere: on the sea, in the fjord and harbor, as well as from the groynes and piers. If the fish do not bite, then take a tour to the fishing port, here you can always buy freshly caught fish and other goodies. On the campsite there are pétanque and tennis courts and a mini golf course. In the 2 large halls you can be sporty all year round: Soccer, handball, tennis, table tennis, badminton, volleyball, roller skating rink and a fitness center. Around Thyborøn there are attractions for the whole family, such as Sneglehuset, the Fishery and Rescue Museum, Thyborøn Fortress, interesting art exhibitions in 'Den gamle Smedie' (the old smithy), JyllandsAkvariet and Kystcenter (you get a discount on the 2 latter museums).

From 26.06.2020 access to the culture house Vandværket in Thyborøn is included in the rent. There you will find children's pool, sauna, physiotherapy and much more.

From next season guests have free access to Snegleland in Wærket (the nearest neighbor of the campsite. Snegleland is a new playland with many inflatables. It is open during the school vacations.
