'We had a wonderful time in your cottage. Everything was perfect! Our memories of this quaint home will be with us forever because our daughter was married Saturday, and our stay here will be mingled with her sweet day. Thank you,'

'We enjoyed your cottage so much! It was our home and working base for the week of our daughter's wedding. This cottage gave us all a place to be at home-away-from-home. Thank you so much for such a wonderful memory.'
Frank and Kathy - June 2008
We really liked this place. We actually live in Santa Barbara but our house got flooded so we were staying here and we loved it! -May 2007
We had a wonderful time in your cottage while visiting our daughter and sister who lives in Goleta. It was a very special time since we celebrated our father’s 80th birthday. The cottage is a lovely place to stay. It was very warm and cozy. We’ll definitely keep it in mind for the next time. (The Netherlands – Europe) March 2006

Thank you. Johnson Family
My wife & I have lived in Santa Barbara for 29 yrs and invite you to come visit our Charming Cottages. There is no place like Santa Barbara in the world and we think you will agree with us after you have stayed with us in the heart of the Santa Barbara. Known as the American Riviera.
Cherise purchased this house in 2004
Our three Cottages are very charming inside and out. The landscape area surrounding the three Cottages matches the Cottages them selves. The San Roque area neighborhood is a very desirable area for locals to purchase Real Estate because of its family oriented life style and sought after school district. Also its proximity to beaches , shopping and Wine Country. We invested here because of all of these reasons.
It was fantastic! The VRBO description was spot on. We had a group of 10 friends and the privacy of the three cottages plus the beautiful compound made it a perfect place for us to stay. The cottages were pretty fully stocked and very clean. The beds were even comfortable! If we find ourselves with a group of people in SB again, we'll be staying here!
My dog and I had a nice stay at the Hummingbird cottage in Santa Barbara. The location was just a short drive to the beach. It was clean and had a well stocked kitchen with everything you need for cooking. I loved being able to open the windows except I wish there were screens on them. The only other concern I had was that there was a large gap between the ground and the bottom of the wood fence. I didn't notice it and my dog went under it and ended up in the neighbors yard. I blocked it off for the remainder of the stay. Also, the window in the large bedroom didn't stay open and the other was stuck.
Otherwise, it was a very nice place with plenty of privacy.
The Hummingbird Cottage is very nice and comfortable. We enjoyed our stay with our daughter and our grand children who live at Santa Barbara.
We enjoyed our stay at the cottage immensely! It was clean, comfortable and perfectly positioned in Santa Barbara. We enjoyed walks in the safe, scenic neighborhood and loved that while there was a sense of privacy and a semi-suburban feel, we were minutes away from a wide variety of local shops, a mall, tourist sites and a main highway. The beds were very comfortable and we had no problems sleeping away from home. We made use of many amenities available in the house including the grill and beautiful deck. I would definitely rebook for my next return to Santa Barbara!
We had a group of five people stayed at this cozy home. For a group of five, we managed well for one bathroom. The kitchen is clean as well as the rest of the home. One major problem was the pullout bed in the main living room was broken and we had to pile pillows and boxes underneath to be able to sleep on it. I would recommend this fixed if we were to stay at this location in the future.
The hummingbird cottage was amazing!! My husband and I this past Saturday and use the cottage for the ladies to sleep and get get ready at the day day before. It comfortably held about 8 guest. Loved the back yard, front patio, and everything in between. The bed wasn't super comfortable but we got used to it. Also a lot of spider webs (I'm not a fan of spiders) once my husband got rid of those I was great!! Nice place to stay. Close to everything!!
