Looking for a spot for your family getaway or group trip? Mt Baker is it! In the summer, enjoy world-class hiking and biking in the mountains. In the winter, experience the legendary Mt Baker powder on skis, snowboard, snowshoes, or sleds!

Mt Baker Ski Area is only two hours from Vancouver or Seattle, and it’s a great alternative to Whistler, with loads of snow, challenging terrain, cheaper lift tickets ($56 -$63/adult) and a relaxed spirit.

Don't you hate when you're on holiday and have to check out Sunday by 11:00 AM? We offer a 6:00 pm check-out for weekend stays at no additional cost - as long as no one is checking in on Sunday. Enjoy an extra day in the mountains!

About our chalet …

This is one of the nicest cabins available for rent at Mt Baker – wood floors, leather sofa, modern furniture, new linens, and a spacious kitchen with stainless appliances.

We now offer wifi and free long distance phone calls within the USA. (Sorry, still no cell service.)

Our house is KID FRIENDLY and has a separate basement playroom and living/dining room so you and your kids aren't right on top of each other. There is sleeping for 7-10 comfortably.

Our Chalet has:

On the bottom floor, we have a large garage rec room with ping pong and space to stash your wet gear; a large indoor rec room with foosball, the TV area, and one queen futon and one double futon; and a bathroom.

On the second floor, we have a living room, eating area, and large kitchen, along with 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. The master bedroom has a queen-sized bed, and the second bedroom has 3 twin-sized beds, including a bunkbed.

The third floor loft bedroom has a king-sized bed.

Please note: Rates during Christmas and New Year's holidays are $300/night, 4-night minimum.

Family Ski vacation

The home in Baker Rim was perfect; teens and kids love the ping pong, video games, and foosball. All enjoyed the hot tub after a day of skiing at Baker, which was a 15 minute drive away. Kitchen was well stocked and plenty of space for everyone to cook together. Thanks, recommend to all families.

Amazing Spacious Cabin

The property was an amazing and spacious cabin with ample room for everyone! The cabin had everything you needed for a wonderful ski trip: Large garage to store your skis, big kitchen and dining table for family meals, gas stove and heater for when the power goes out, great hot tub and grill for relaxing, and plenty of beds and room for everyone to get some rest. Kitchen is well stocked, wifi was reliable, foosball and ping pong table! There was a lot of toys for children to use as well. No cell phone service which made for a good time unwinding from day to day life. I highly recommend this property to any group looking for a great home base for their Mt. Baker ski trip. Host was responsive and accomodating!

Hiking in Mount Baker Snoqualmie National Forest

A great stay for four adults and three kids, with room to be together and room to slip away. The kids enjoyed the video games and ping pong. The adults enjoyed the decks and views. Everyone enjoyed the hot tub. The Chalet was clean and very comfy! Great location for visiting the national forest. We'd love to come back!
