The Nakai Chalet is a spacious 2,320 square feet mountain retreat with 3 bedrooms plus a loft, kid-friendly, Convenient and in a Great Location. We have the most comfortable and relaxing private hot tub for 6 with a specialty chair in the Area! and one of the few cabins with AC! Our custom vacation home is located on a hilltop in a quiet residential neighborhood nestled in tall pines and surrounded by the Coconino National Forest. The house is equipped with new solid wood furnishings and decorated with a rustic SW decor. Featuring: Quiet location: The property is nestled in natural landscaping of tall pines, and very close to national forest entrances. It is the perfect holiday lodging for nature lovers and outdoor enthusiasts. Discover the Coconino national forest, Kachina peaks wilderness, Walnut Canyon, Sunset crater, Kendrick peak wilderness, and the Grand Canyon. Exceptional great room: The living room has a wonderful array of large windows extending up to a 30 ft vaulted ceiling.

Entertainment includes a pool table, flat panel Smart TVs, DVD player with a DVD library, and stereo, cd player with an IPOD/MP3 connection. We have Netflix, Disney +, Hulu, Amazon prime and Sling tv Patio: The house's patio has a large upper deck, hot tub and a fenced play yard with natural tall pines. A lovely, peaceful home in a great location

After my family of six (2 Adults & 4 Kids aged 16, 14, 14 & 11) travelled for 33 hours from our home in South Australia, we were grateful to arrive at this beautiful family home. We felt right at home from the moment we stepped in the front door. It was very clean, comfortable beds, and had everything you could possibly need. The owner was very helpful with all of our questions and a pleasure to deal with. Our eldest son made use of the Wi-Fi to do his homework in the evenings & we could not have come on the trip without it. We made great memories visiting National Parks & Monuments, in close driving distance from the house, such as Grand Canyon, Petrified Forest, Wupatki, Sunset Crater Volcano, Walnut Canyon, Tuzigoot, Montezuma Castle & Well. We also visited Buffalo Park & Elden Pueblo, & went hiking at Fay Canyon, Fatman’s Loop, Rocky Ridge Trail, Arizona Snowbowl & Oak Creek Canyon. There was a lot more we could have done all in close driving distance from the house but we only had 10 days and had run out of time. We would most certainly go back again and recommend this home to others.Thank you so much for sharing your home with us.

Beautiful spot just outside of Flagstaff

We really enjoyed staying at this cabin. We had a little snag getting in when there was a snowstorm and we couldn’t initially get up the road in our minivan. Host was very responsive and helped us get in touch with a neighbor who offered to help us find a way to get our van up. Thankfully the plow came soon after our initial attempt and we were able to get up alright. The space was great and we really enjoyed the pool/ping pong table while watching the snow out of the picture windows. While we had fun going out the highlight for our desert dwelling kids was staying in the cabin with snow all around. The spa and deck were also great in the evening and morning. Host was in touch and responsive throughout our stay and offered options to help make it as comfortable as possible. We would stay again.

Best of the best!

My family and I had the most wonderful time in this home! Perfect, quiet location with so much to do in the home and a short 5 minute drive to downtown Flagstaff. My children aren’t typically homebodies, especially in the snow, but they just wanted to stay in and play pool, ping pong, games and enjoy the hot tub! It was so clean and everything was easily accessible. Clara, the owner, was wonderful to us and it was easy to communicate. We will definitely be staying here in the future. It was a lovely home away from home.

Why they chose this property

We believe this is an ideal location, close to town without the hassle of noise and traffic, located on top of a hilly neighborhood nestled in pine forest. It is also is centered between Sedona and the Grand Canyon. We can plan day trips or enjoy what Flagstaff has to offer. We love our neighborhood, which with find picturesque and very unique. National Forest access point are within 1 mile.
