Guest Review: We just returned from an eight night stay at this home and we had an amazing time. Anita was there to greet us and house smelled wonderful from brownies baking. The house is warm and charming and it had everything we needed. Anita is very thoughtful as she leaves all the essentials and niceties there for the guests. The house is very clean and the bedrooms/bathrooms are very spacious. The living area is fantastic and the fireplace warmed up the living space and made it very cozy. The kitchen is very well equipped with dishes and utensils. The home is a perfect location for major attractions such as Grand Canyon, Montezuma Castle, Sedona, etc. It is a great place to come back to after a day of sightseeing. We brought wonderful memories back and will certainly consider renting this house again.

Guestbook comments from the owner

"My husband and I rented this lovely home for a week's stay in the Sedona area. It was perfect --- roomy, comfortable, fully appointed with everything we needed and blissfully quiet. The home in Cottonwood is only 15 minutes from the hustle and bustle of Sedona and 15 minutes from the quaint mining town of Jerome, yet when out on the patio at night with a thousand stars all around, you feel like you are the only ones in the world. The location was excellent for the many day trips we made to hike in all directions. Anita is the perfect host and I would not hesitate to stay at this home again in the future."

Wonderful vacation home!

  • 5 of 5

This was our second stay in this beautiful home. Our first stay was two years ago, and we enjoyed it

so much, we decided to come back again and enjoy another great time. My sister and her husband

joined us this time and they were happily impressed at the comfort and amenities of this home.

We enjoyed spending even more time relaxing at "home" this time, and enjoying the beautiful back

yard with horses, cows in back pasture and birds singing, with a mountain view too. Wonderful privacy and quiet. The gas fireplace was so pretty and relaxing with extremely comfortable furniture in all rooms. The kitchen was fully equipped, and also enjoyed the BBQ out back. The beds were very comfortable too with nice mattresses. Such lovely spaciousness and comfort were so appreciated. We did return to our favorite restaurants in Cottonwood, and nearby Sedona for sightseeing, shopping and restaurants. The Grand Canyon was a nice day trip and well worth seeing. So nice to be close to all the activities and scenery. General shopping also was close and easy to locate (such as Safeway, Frys, etc.)

Anita, as always was very pleasant, helpful and answered any questions we had upon our arrival.

She again greeted us with warm, delicious brownies. Thank you again Anita for another awesome stay in

your beautiful, comfortable home. We look forward to returning again (for the third time!) next year.

The home location is perfect for sightseeing the surrounding areas and not dealing with heavy traffic. Restaurants in Cottonwood Old Town were excellent! House location is quiet with beautiful view of mountain range in the back.

Wonderful! Just another affirmation of what a great place this is to vacation!!

After reading all the positive reviews, I can validate all that has been said. We are 2 couples- now retired- who have travelled the world together, renting houses and condos along the way. Most have been fine and met expectations but there's always the possibility of a "clinker" happening when you first open that door. Well, not this time! Upon opening the door, we were greeted with the smells of fresh baked brownies and the sun setting with beautiful views of the backyard and beyond, with amazing horses grazing in the field. This house will meet all the needs of 2 or more people and still seem to have plenty of room. It is clean, comfy, well stocked, and easy to find. Great location for touring the Cottonwood/Jerome area for sure.

Thank you Anita for making this all possible for us.

Nice home to use as a base to Explore Arizona. This home is a real value.

We stayed in the cute home in Cottonwood, AZ. The house was an open format with Cathedral ceilings and fans. The kitchen was a great kitchen for cooking group meals we had good counter space, good appliances and we had all of the amenities you could imagine in the kitchen. This was a home and it felt comfortable like a home. We recommend this to any couple or better yet family or group of friends.

The description was accurate, the home was well maintained, and we had cable TV and music. The top of the cake was the warm brownies waiting for us upon our arrival. I call this good service. While we covered a lot of area, we found good restaurants and a lot of activities we could do all within just a few moments of the house.
