Miki & Tom
About Miki & Tom
We came to Chattanooga on an ArtsMove Grant from Bradenton, Florida where we were one of a group of artists instrumental in creating The Village of the Arts, the largest arts enclave on the Gulf Coast.
Miki & Tom purchased this Apartment in 2007
Why Miki & Tom chose Southside Historic District
We fell in love with Chattanooga, and being urban pioneers, we love living right downtown. There is so much happening in this medium sized culturally rich city with a myriad of activities for singles and families alike.
What makes this Apartment unique
We are walking distance to great restaurants and right around the corner from the free electric shuttle bus or bike rentals along the way to take you anywhere around downtown ending at the Tennessee River. The Aquarium, live theatre, Symphony, movie theatre and much much more. And there is off-street parking behind the house.
100% refund if cancelled at least 60 days before arrival date. 50% refund if cancelled at least 30 days before arrival date.
Spacious and Great Location
Walk two short blocks and you can pick up the free electric trolley that runs every five minutes down to the river and back.
Spacious, clean, and a very quite neighborhood. You can't find a better value for the location.
Great stay in Chattanooga!
Miki’s home is beautifully decorated and impeccably clean. It is located within a-two-minute walk of the Choo-Choo hotel.
Great long weekend for family with three teenagers! Thank you.
We traveled for a short trip for a family getaway. The house was very clean and better than expected. The art throughout the house added to the charm of the house. You cannot ask for a better location as we walked or took the free trolley most places we visited. Miki & Tom were very helpful and even let us borrow a couple of wrenches when our AC went out on our vehicle. We will definitely stay here again when we visit Chattanooga.
This is a well loved home and it was a pleasure to be able to stay here. I do wish the main bath was larger but it was clean and had everything you might need and then some. It was great to have designated parking directly behind the house and was within walking distance to several restaurants.
Great place. Owner super friendly and responsive. House very clean. Close enough to walk to lots of places downtown. Would stay here again for sure. Highly recommend.
This is our "new home" when visiting Chattanooga. Miki and Tom are incredible hosts - they checked on us & we felt very welcome in their space - and what a space!! There was plenty of room for 5 of us to relax & play games. We cooked in and ate in as well. The decor is so much fun - we kept finding new things each day! Our daughter enjoyed sleeping in an art gallery and playing in the park across the street. The location is fantastic - we loved being in a quiet neighborhood but still within blocks of restaurants & the shuttle. This was just a really perfect place for us! We will be back.
Located downtown in the historic Southside arts district, we love being able to walk to restaurants and down to the waterfront. Our favorite breakfast/lunch place is the Bluegrass Grille at the corner. The Flying Squirrel and The Terminal, just two of our favorite local watering holes, are a couple of blocks away. Five minutes by car is Ruby Falls, The Incline Railway, and Rock City. Voted the #2 arts destination in a mid-sized City and Where to Retire Magazine voted it one of the top places in the country to live (Mar/Apr 2011). (The owners made the cover). Rich in cultural and outdoor activities, fabulous restaurants, and lots of attractions and Seasonal festivals. Just 1-1/2 hours from Atlanta, and 10 minutes from the Chattanooga Metropolitan airport.
Golf: There are more than six municipal golf courses within fifteen minutes to half an hour of downtown with moderate price ranges.
