About Lee Martin

This is Leshia and myself standing in the front yard of the cabin in March of 2008, a snow storm came through the evening before and left 14' of snow. We had no power for three days but we were self sufficient as we had a gas grill and a gas fireplace that we cooked our meals on. It was one the most memorable and fun trips we have ever had.

Why Lee Martin chose Mountain View

Beautiful area, great fishing, music on the square. We've had been coming to Mountian View for over 15 years before we decided to build our dream cabin on the mountain. We purchased the land and I spent about 6 months designing the cabin that would fit just right on that lot. Almost everything the house is built from came from the area, so the cabin fits right in with the natural surroundings.

What makes this cabin unique

Great cave nearby, music shows, fishing, hunting, hiking, mountain biking and river rafting close by. You can relax in the Jacuzzi or take an invigorating shower in the twin head, slate walk in shower. Copper sinks in kitchen and master bath, copper utensils and a copper counter top make your stay at Twin Pine a memorable one.

Really nice cabin with beautiful views.

This cabin is a great place to stay. Plenty of room and very clean. It seems like you are way up in the mountains but you are really minutes away from anything you need. Owners were super nice and very helpful.

We loved the cabin. The kitchen was nicely stocked with all the things we needed to prepare meals. The entire cabin was nicely decorated and was very homey! The beds weren’t the most comfortable but we made due. The views off the balconies were spectacular!!

My only complaints were 1st that we had trouble finding the place and 2nd we rode motorcycles and the dirt road to the cabin was up hill, red clay and had major, major rocks and ruts. It was horrible because it had rained recently. I was told ahead of time there 1/8 mile gravel road but this was much worse. We had very skilled riders that struggled. It almost ruined our entire trip.

Wonderful place to spend time with family.

  • 5 of 5

Our stay was very enjoyable though a storm created some problems which were taken care of as soon as we notified the owners. This is a well-maintained, comfortable cabin that makes you feel welcome the minute you step thru the door. Would recommend this property for anyone traveling to the Mountainview area. We hope to be able to return to the cabin again later this year.

Great views and wonderful charm!

  • 4 of 5

The views were the first thing we noticed. They were fantastic! I loved that there were two places to lounge. It was a great place to go for Christmas. It was one of our favorite holidays in a long time. The kitchen was spacious and it was fun to cook in it! It was nice having the extra ved too. The decks were very nice. Had the weather been a little warmer I would have stayed outside. The kids enjoyed roasting marshmallows in the outdoor fireplace. The only negative was the beds upstairs were supremely uncomfortable. Although we didn’t sleep well, we would definitely do it again.
