Another wonderful stay

We just completed another extended stay at this property over Thanksgiving. We have stayed here many times and find the street quiet and the location excellent for the mid-Wilshire attractions like the museums and shopping. For the first time we had a minor maintenance problem and it was attended to promptly by Manuela who is the local agent responsible for the property. Plenty of room with 2 bedrooms and full living room, dining room and kitchen. Pleasant small balcony for eating outside if the weather is nice. There is no handicapped access to the second story location for those for whom this is important. We will be back.

Wonderful place in great location!

Our family of four just spent the weekend in this charming duplex. Perfect layout with king bed for the parents and two twins for the kids. So homey and comfortable with a well equipped kitchen and amazing library! My husband read an entire book on Cortez while we were there. Quiet location, but close to lots of great spots. Within walking distance to La Brea Tar Pits and LACMA, plus restaurants and bars. Would definitely stay here again!

Roomy and elegant

Two couples shared with plenty of room for everybody in both the bedrooms and common spaces. The unit is very well equipped, including with thoughtful extras like Kleenex (not a huge deal unless there isn’t any provided), nice soap, plenty of towels and responsive owners and property manager. We loved the book selection and the solid, comfortable furniture in 40s style.

Spanish colonial architectural gem in fantastic location

Came here with some family members and was immediately taken by this sweet flat that feels like it was lifted from the set of "Chinatown." A great launchpad for an L.A.-themed visit with easy access to Farmer's Market (and a bevy of great pie selections at Du-Par's), Hollywood, LA County Museum of Art, and that stomping ground from my youth, the La Brea Tar Pits, which in fact are not tar, but are made of asphalt. But I digress. House is accessible, in a nice location on the edge of the lovely Hancock Park. Trader Joe's nearby. Coffee around the corner in an oh-so-L.A. juice bar. A very reasonably priced find. Would happily stay here again.
