About this property

No Golf Cart needed, that close to the amenities! The Beach Villa sleeps 5 to 6 and is a modern and comfortable condo located next to the Beach Club and main dune walkover at the Pointe West Resort. There is a beautiful view of the beach and the Gulf of Mexico from the balcony. The Villa’s location, in the heart of the Pointe West Resort, allows for the closest access to the Beach Club and beach. The beach is stunning, expansive, regularly groomed, and closed to vehicle traffic - making it the perfect spot to enjoy the surf or build sand castles with your family.

The Beach Club is elevated and has an infinity edge pool which overlooks the beach and Gulf of Mexico. In addition to the pool, the club has a restaurant, bar above (sunset to view), heated Jacuzzi (& Sunset pool), children’s wading pool, fitness center, game room, and picnic area with gas grills. The gift shop is open & seasonal. In addition to stairs and elevators, wheel chair accessible ramps are provided for guests.

There is a heated sunset pool which is located bay side. A full basketball court on the grounds. There are more than 3 miles of beach and 6 miles of biking trails at the Resort. A fire pit, which is perfect for building a camp fire and toasting marshmallows, is located near the condo. Bring your fishing gear as you can cast & catch right from the shoreline.

The Sunset pool is heated on the bay side of the resort, it includes a lazy river surrounded by swaying palm trees. The pool and Jacuzzi provide a relaxing atmosphere with views of the sunset on the bay. There is also a lanai with a grill. Bring binoculars there also to watch beautiful birds and wildlife.

The owners personally manage the Beach Villa and are highly committed to the quality of each guest’s experience. The condo is maintained in top condition. Please feel free to contact us if you have questions or would like to inquire about availability!
Important Notes for guests.
1) The Resort Beach Club is separately owned and operated. They charge a $25 per person per stay fee for guests age 4 and up which is collected at the Beach Club Office (masks optional). The Club contacts guests by email prior to arrival to collect payment.
2) The Condo Buildings and the Beach Club have stairs plus one elevator per building. Elevator access can not be guaranteed because the elevators are not in service 100% of the time. If you are unable to use the stairs, we strongly recommend that you stay somewhere else.
3) Guests should strongly consider purchasing damage protection from VRBO. Similar to staying in a hotel or renting a car, guests are responsible for damages that they cause. In cases where damage protection is not purchased, VRBO incorrectly states that a guest's liability is limited to the damage deposit amount. That is not correct.

Pointe West Resort Stay

We had a nice relaxing weekend stay. The condo was kept in a clean and orderly manner. The bedrooms were spacious with ample closet space for items with brought with us. The provided wagon was useful in carrying chairs, coolers and towels to the beach as the walk was definitely a heart healthy trek. The pool and hot tub was really nice. The beach was exceptionally clean and worth the walk to it. Very nice stay. It's on my future list.

Perfect family beach vacation

Villa was clean, well appointed and in close proximity to the beach and resort club with full amenities. Pictures as advertised (and even better in person!). The host, Joan, went out of her way to ensure our time there was memorable. Not only were specific check in instructions provided (read them, so very helpful!!) but she shared a list of who to call for questions and/or minor repairs, a list of local restaurants and shops to check out, a list with pro-tips of amenities available at the resort next next door (like renting bikes, checking out beach volleyball, football and ping pong paddles, accessing a 2nd, heated pool). These all added to our incredible experience -equal time beaching and playing/on the go with the kids. The villa grounds were immaculate and Pointe West is quite nice - the boarded walks down to the beach are well maintained and we had fun riding bikes around checking out all the beach houses, basketball court and pool with lazy river close by. Joan made it easy so we were able to focus on our time together, away from the regular bustle. We had such a great stay, would highly recommend this property.

Very clean and comfortable

The condo was very clean, comfortable, well kept. Joan was very helpful and communicative. It is a very nice place. The resort area was extremely quiet while we were there - hardly anyone around (week after TX spring break).

Great vacation spot

Our fourth trip to Pointe West….first stay in this unit and it was amazing. Owners were great and prompt to answer throughout out a stay which was great especially when a major storm blew in knocking out power. The pointe west resort is a family favorite with amenities including a restaurant, pool and easy beach access.

This was our first time staying on Galvaston Island and the condo didn’t disappoint. The check-in process was easy, the condo was clean, comfortable and we felt relaxed and at home. The hosts were very responsive and keep the lines of communication open during our stay. Thanks Allen & Joan

We are pleased to make the acquaintance of all our guests and help them throughout their stays if needed. Communication is all that is required and we are willing and able to make your vacation the best we can.
As owners and managers, we have lived North of Houston for 27 years with our three children. I (Joan) and my husband (Alan) are original owners of the Villa and use it as our weekend getaway for our family. We make it available for rental by families and couples when we're not using it.

Why they chose this property

The choice to own at this resort was simple. Every direction you look just nature's beauty! Congestion, noise, and crowds are not anywhere near this resort, It has a beach with no cars. A golf cart is not needed, we are that close to the elevated beach club.
As we do have permanent residents, you can count on this resorts full time security and concern for safety. A full length basketball court, Lazy river Jacuzzi and pool bayside as well as infinity edge pool and toddler pool at the elevated beach club, paddle racket court, game room, fully loaded exercise room, 3 miles of beaches and paved paths. The restaurant and bar are seasonal.
The Villa is in excellent condition and is very comfortable! It is located right next door to the Beach Club and main dune walkover making it super convenient to access the pool, Jacuzzi, exercise room, bar, restaurant and beach. It is a 30 yard walk to the club amenities. And a beach with no cars!

What makes this property unique

Every direction you look just nature's beauty! Congestion, noise, and crowds are not anywhere near this resort, It has a beach with no cars! , golf carts are not needed, the closest walk to the club is the best unique benefit of this location.
As the villa is first floor, it is one quick flight of steps over to the beach club amenities, a golf cart is not needed. The Villa's windows facing the beach are a wall to wall view. Your beach view can be seen during food prep in the kitchen, feasting at the table, lounging, watching TV, of course from the patio and even in the master bedroom! And the beach is regularly cleaned and closed off to cars. The Villa is located on the beach side of the resort.
