You have a breathtaking view of the Bourscheid castle from this chalet in Schlindermanderscheid. The chalet is detached and very quiet. Through the carport you enter the vacation home. The living room with open kitchen with Senseo gives immediate access to the balcony with south exposure and a breathtaking view over the valley. From the balcony you also come to the large garden with outdoor fireplace. The tranquility and privacy of this chalet in the Luxembourg Ardennes is exceptional. From the cottage you can enjoy the beautiful view of the illuminated castle of Bourscheid in the evening. The two bedrooms and the bathroom are on the same floor. Your vacation home is located on a plateau on the Sûre and Wark rivers in the quiet village of Schlindermanderscheid. It is a wonderful forest and hilly landscape with excellent hiking opportunities. 3 km from your vacation home is Goebelsmühle, where there is a train station. This is a good starting point for a hike from station to station, for example to the beautifully situated Kautenbach. The castle of Bourscheid is one of the most prominent landmarks in the area. In summer you can swim in Bourscheid-Plage and the Sûre. About 20 km from your vacation home are the small towns of Clervaux (Family of Man), Vianden (castle and adventure park) and Diekirch, where you can do your shopping. Tip: the beautiful bathing and sauna paradise in Hosingen.

Herrlicher Ausblick

Sehr nettes Häuschen zu zweit und auch zu dritt, herrlicher Ausblick von der gemütlichen Terrasse. Schön zum Wandern in der Umgebung und per Zug bequem nach Luxemburg für einen Tagesausflug. Sehr nette Gastgeber wohnen nebenan.

Amazing Location

An amazing place and location. The lodge was full of character and just perfect for what we were looking for. (A relaxing time with peace and quiet.) There were some fabulous walks around the village and everybody was so friendly. Being centrally located in the middle of Luxembourg meant everywhere was only a short drive away, Vianden 20 minutes, Luxembourg City 40 minutes, Bourscheid Castle, 10 minutes. The best part about the property were the views, you can sit on the balcony for hours looking down over the valley. The owners of the lodge live next door and were wonderful. On our first day the lady had made a cake and came around with a slice each for my wife and I. All in all we had a wonderful week and would recommend the lodge to anyone, couples, or families.

Bequemes Chalet mit wunderbarer Aussicht. Datiert. In stiller Umgebung, gut wenn man von Ruhe halt. Laden 17 km entfernt. Viel Raum, riesigen Garten, gut zum wandern in der Nähe.
