The Neighborhood: The villa is located in a small, quiet resort that is gated with electric gates at the entrance. Across the street are several resorts & dive shops including 'Bonaire Dive & Adventure' and 'Buddy Dive'. There are several restaurants/lounges located within the resorts. Next door is a gym that offers various fitness programs and massage. Also next door is the MCB Bank which is one of the main banks on the island & has a bank machine. Across the street is a spa that offers massage, pedicure, etc. Across the street is a small convenience/liquor store and an ice-cream parlor. The ocean is across the street and accessible via the several dive shops mentioned above. A quiet, sandy beach is a 5 minute waIk. It is about a 15-minute walk to downtown or a 2-minute drive where you'll find grocery stores, lots of restaurants, and shopping. The airport is about a 12-minute drive. The popular shore diving sites extend from one end of the island to the other, and we are centrally located among them
Why Bonaire: After visiting many popular Caribbean destinations, we visited Bonaire after hearing about the spectacular diving. Since that first visit, we've gone nowhere else! Not only is the diving second to none, the island is very different than other popular vacation destinations. When you arrive, you feel like you're visiting your second home. The island is laid back, quiet, safe, and just feels like home from the moment you arrive. We've brought many friends with us to Bonaire over the years, and most have returned to the island because they too fell in the love with Bonaire.

Angie, Owner purchased this villa in 2008
While visiting Bonaire several times, we were able to stay on different parts of the island and experience different neighborhoods. We chose this area because of its proximity to the main town, Kralendijk. It's within a minute's drive or a quick walk of the main shopping area. The airport is less than a 5 minute drive. We're also located directly across the street from several large resorts making access to dive tanks & restaurants/bars quick and easy. And most importantly, we're located in the middle of all the great dive sites. So whether you head south or north, you're going to find the best diving & snorkeling in the Caribbean.
Relax on the covered patio only steps from the pool. Easily load and unload your dive gear when parked right next to the side entrance and the rinse station. Hang your gear to dry outside in the breeze and then bring inside at night for maximum security. Recharge your camera and light batteries easily with our recharge station.
I had loved our staining and for sure we really do recomend and as is , we are already planning coming back ! Bathroom , bedroom , bed , air condition , kitchen , kitchen appliances is very well served and functional !!! The structure for dive equipments are very rich with many hangers. The patio is a very special place where we had enjoyed our meals during our staying and the grill is a high point which we had used fully with a very nice view of the swimming pool . Besides of all of this , it's location is very good and centralized in Bonaire ! For all this , we do really highly recomend it and for sure we will come back!!! Thanks Angie !!!
Everything about this property made me feel at home. Inside and out - everything was well cared for. The location was the best. As I was getting off the plane someone was telling first time visitors that the best place to go for dinner is Ingredients. It is in walking distance of this property! Across the street Eddie's which has really good food and live music a couple nights a week. The water taxi to Klein Bonaire is close by as is Coco Beach - open to the public. Between Two Buns has excellent sandwiches. There is an ice cream store next to them. Traveling North is easy - lots of dive sites. Lake Goto with all the flamingos was wonderful. Continuing on is Indian Inscriptions and the East Coast. Visiting the Donkey Sanctuary and the salt flats was fun.
Ate at two food trucks - Kite City and Blue Cactus - both were great.
The villa is well supplied, quiet and clean. Would highly recommend this property. Thanks so much for the opportunity to stay here.
We stayed in this villa over Christmas break and had a wonderful time. It is located conveniently just a few minutes drive to restaurants and dive shops. Within walking distance there is a small mall with an ice cream shop and a very nice breakfast and lunch restaurant, between two buns. Having a private patio and an outside washing area right next to the back door/parking was super convenient. Also a laundry room had hangers as well. Make sure to bring your own detergent, shampoo, and soap, as they are not provided. Also, if you plan to stay during major holidays many of local restaurants and shops are closed, and the ones that are open are quickly booked, so make reservations early. Angie was very helpful and responsive to our questions about the villa and also about local information. Highly recommend.
Bonaire has the reputation of being laid back, slower paced and very tranquil. This is all quite true; the island also offers fun places to visit and exceptional restaurants. Bonaire is a small island located in the Southern Caribbean known for its pioneering role in the in preservation of nature, particular the preservation of the marine environment.
This was my first visit, enticed by the stories of some of the most incredable diving in the world. This trip I went with friends, overall we had a wonderful trip. The diving was exceeded what I expected. Another island gem is Ville Makoshi which has a lovely setting, from the villa itself to the landscaping surrounding it which was peaceful is well thought out. The villa itself was very clean, and large, with adequate seating all guests and ceiling fans the warmer evenings. The bedrooms were air conditioned which made sleep very comfortable so we were well rested for another day of diving. We had a living room, & a full kitchen and dining area, two bedrooms with full bathrooms, and a storage area so you do not have to carry your gear far from the truck after it was rinsed it off in the conveniently located outside rinse basins The patio was large with tables, chairs; lounge chairs, a pool in the common area, for relaxing and enjoying the day's diving stories The dive shop was very close to the villa, I found the dive shops helpful. The restaurants in the area had great menus with excellent food. We especially enjoyed our dinner at "Unbelievable"
I expect there are many ways to describe Bonaire: "Best Kept Secret", "Unhurried'', "Unspoiled", "Unforgettable"; "Divers Paradise". The fact is that I found all these statements are true, and then some. There are a number of reasons people should visit this island. There is the climate, the water, the sun, great food, excellent diving. I found that I did not have enough time to do all I wanted to do. It is also the warmth and friendliness of the people & the diving is what will bring me back, as well as the adventures of Kayaking in the mangroves
This truly is a luxury "home away from home". The modern construction, sturdy furniture, and well thought out and decorative furnishings are spectacular. The bedrooms are large with more than enough closet/storage space. The bathrooms have modern showers, sinks, toilet, and lighting and everything works very well. The outdoor pool is great for a dip between or after dives (nice lights at night!). The outdoor shower and gear rinsing station not only are very effective and convenient, but the rinse station also looks great! This property is across the street from convenience stores and a dive shop and it is not far from the townsite (I walked to town). The washing machine is a great convenience also. The Makoshi is well situated on the island - close to the airport and its central location makes getting to the North and South shore dive sites easy. I would definately recommend staying at the Makoshi!!
