Just before the village of Talla (1.5 km) lies this medieval mill in a romantic side valley. The very original vacation home ( autonomous semi-detached house) is something for individualists: you enter the living area on the 1st floor ? rustic kitchen, living room with open fireplace ? via a covered natural stone staircase; two bedrooms are still one floor higher. In front of the house extends a large well-kept property with private pool area; barbecue, and pizza oven with a large covered terrace; plenty of outdoor space for people and animals, as well as a volleyball court and table tennis. The mill also includes several water basins, watercourses and a small pond for fishing - all well secured. The friendly owner, who lives in the other half of the house (with a separate driveway), can activate the old mill wheel and will be happy to show you how the grain is ground. - The property is adjacent to that of ITA895. Discover the charming towns, castles and borghi of Casentino, such as Bibbiena (15km) or Poppi (20km) and be sure to visit the impressive Franciscan monastery of La Verna. The Casentino Natural Park invites you to hike, trek and bike in the mountains, through centuries-old oak and beech forests. Visit and experience the medieval old town of Arezzo (25km) - e.g. strolling through the Corso, visiting the worth seeing Cathedral, Pieve and the Church of San Francesco and of course having an aperitif on the Piazza. Numerous trattorias offer local delicacies. In June and September, Piazza Grande hosts the traditional equestrian games of the Saraceno; on the first weekend of every month, the entire old town comes alive with the great national antiques market. In Talla (1,5km) there is everything for daily needs - groceries, bar, pharmacy, restaurant.
