This modern vacation home is located near the picturesque village of Kokkari. It is minimalist but at the same time very tastefully decorated and has enough space for up to nine people. The garden surrounding the house and the pool area is a pleasantly quiet place to stay. Enjoy a drink by the pool while watching the sun go down. You can have your breakfast and dinner on one of the covered terraces with a breathtaking sea panorama. The island of Samos, home to Pythagoras, is known for its archaeological sites, which are ubiquitous here. Take advantage of a variety of beaches with crystal clear bathing water and look forward to delicious fish dishes in traditional taverns. The villages of Puthagorion and Kokkari are definitely worth a visit. Hiking enthusiasts are in good hands here: Samos is characterized by lots of nature trails. There is something for every type of hiker.

A Mixed Bag

The villa has a beautiful pool and view. When booking this villa we considered this very elegant, as per the photos and price. We usually enjoyed the beautiful sunrise in the morning. The villa itself was spacious, and my children enjoyed the extra room they had on the upper floors. When we arrived, however, we were never explained about the spa and the electric awnings, something we tried to control with varying success thru our stay. Unfortunately, upon closer look we found the villa was not kept clean very well. My wife and I found the kitchen uncleaned, with coffee and grounds in the coffeemaker and general clutter in the kitchen. My wife was able to unclutter and clean the kitchen table, legs and counter and it looked presentable, but we didn't consider using the oven, it was too dirty. In general there was dust and spider webs everywhere. I looked once under the bed, there was a lot of dust. The curtains were dirty. Out bathroom was dark, due to a light buld being out. It was a shame, as the property, location and view are exceptional. We has a good time, but if there was more attention to the details and cleanliness this would have been a great villa.
