A romantic valley surrounded by the NATIONAL PARK SCHWARZWALD. Schönmünzach is a climatic health resort Kneipp and health resort in the northern Black Forest / near Freudenstadt. The small tourist resort is located at an altitude of 460 m and has an eclectic gastronomy.

The environment invites to sports activities. Hiking, Nordic walking, mountain biking, racing bike, jogging in beautiful surroundings and good air. Schönmünzach has a heated swimming pool with toddler area and children's slide. The tourism offers Segwaytouren. An ice skating rink is located in the main town.

In Schönmünzach are 2 playgrounds (spa garden and forest playground). A mini golf course is located next to the spa garden and two Kneipp facilities in Kurgarten and the forest playground.
