About this property

A 100 m2, beautifully furnished apartment.
One bedroom with double bed, another with 2 bunk beds for 4 persons. Giant living room with large dining table for 10-12 people and 2 sofas with sleeping function.
Flat screen TV with satellite connection. Fully equipped kitchen with another dining table.
Other: free Wi-Fi (since 08/2018 high-speed wireless !!), Foosball Table, Electronic Dartboard, Children's Toys

Small wellness area in the basement:
with sauna, solar light, shower, bathtub with whirlpool function and sofa seating area to switch off and relax! The whole thing for a small extra charge by arrangement.

3 parking spaces for cars in the courtyard entrance available, another 2 on the side of the house.
Garage with storage for bicycles and other brought objects.
A dinghy for up to 4-5 persons and 1 bicycle can be used free of charge.

Behind the house, the courtyard can be used in an undisturbed atmosphere for sunbathing and / or barbecues, extendable 6m long awning and tables with benches available.
Here is also a small playground, which invites the children to sand.

The "beautiful Aue", state-approved resort on the German / French border, is located in the most beautiful part of the Palatinate Forest Nature Park, in the middle of romantic Wasgau, on the upper reaches of Sauerbachs. There are no less than nine castles in the immediate vicinity of Schönau. Hiking on the paths of the Middle Ages through the Wasgau and the foothills of the Northern Vosges is a historic experience of a special kind.
But also Schönau itself is a pretty, small village with many historic buildings therefore Schönau is since 1883 a nationally recognized resort.

Schöne Ferienwohnung mit Nutzungsspuren

Wir waren über die Weihnachtsfeiertage 2023 in dieser Ferienwohnung. Das Objekt hat unsere Erwartungen im großen und ganzen erfüllt. Die Wohnung hat deutliche Nutzungsspuren, auch sieht man, dass Arbeiten zum Erhalt durchgeführt werden. Leider heißt es auch, dass manche Wände gerade um Schalter und Steckdosen mehrfarbig sind. Uns störte das nicht weiter. In Bezug auf die Sauberkeit waren wir nicht ganz so überzeugt, gerade weil wir unter der Couch dann noch Plastikverpackungen der Vormieter fanden. Der Vermieter führte das auf eine neue Putzkraft zurück, was wir nicht beurteilen können. Alle Steckdosen in der Wohnung sind mit Kindersicherungen versehen, so dass man sich keine Sorgen um Kleinkinder machen muss. Bei unserer Buchung kam es auch noch zu einem Fehler, die angegebenen Kinder wurden scheinbar nicht übermittelt, dies konnte mit dem Vermieter problemlos geklärt werden. Was wir uns gewünscht hätten wäre, wenn die Zusatzkosten für Bettwäsche und Sauna im Angebot schon aufgeführt wären und auch Preise an diesen stehen würden. Gebucht hätten wir auch mit dem Wissen dieser Zusatzkosten, es wäre nur schöner gewesen diese vorab zu kennen oder sie in der ersten Nachricht mit der Buchungsbestätigung zu erhalten. Unser Fazit, wir würden wieder hin fahren wenn wir ein entsprechendes Objekt suchen.

Silvester in Schönau

Wir waren eine Gruppe aus 10 Personen und waren für fünf Nächte in Schönau. Die Wohnung selbst war sauber, aber vieles in der Wohnung -vor allem im Keller- ist sehr alt und brüchig. Die Küche ist gut ausgestattet und das Wohnzimmer hat genug Platz gehabt für eine große Gruppe wie uns. Es gibt viele Burgen in der Nähe zu entdecken. Für unsere Bedürfnisse hat es gereicht, wir hatten auch keinen hohen Anspruch.

Toller Aufenthalt

Ich war mit meinem Partner, meiner Mutter und unseren 2 Hunden dort. Die Fläche ist wirklich sehr groß, man hängt nicht 24/7 aufeinander.. -Große Wohnung -Hof mit Sitzmöglichkeiten und Billard, Tischtennis Kicker, und kleiner Spielplatz -Garten mit Sitz und Grillmöglichkeiten In der Küche ist wirklich alles Vorhanden was man benötigt Zu den schlechteren Bewertungen hier: Einige Dinge (vorwiegend im Außenbereich) sind schon in die Jahre gekommen, ja, aber wenn alles perfekt wäre, würde die Unterkunft auch locker mal das doppelte kosten.. Wer billig bucht, aber Luxus erwartet ist selber Schuld.. Preis Leistung ist hier wirklich super, auch die Umgebung ist einfach toll, egal in welche Richtung man läuft, man landet direkt im Wald. Es ist super ruhig dort. Auch unseren Hunden hat es sehr gefallen :)
