The apartment is located in St Jurs, a quiet village of 100 inhabitants, 15 km as the crow flies from the "Gorges du Verdon".
She was lovingly extended in 2003 in the barn of a 400-year-old village house.
The roof terrace, the living / dining room and the kitchen offer a magnificent view of the village square and the lavender fields of the eternally stretching plateau.
The apartment is well equipped with a spacious and cozy living / dining room with old buffet and farm table, corner sofa, wood stove, flat screen TV and kitchenette (gas stove, oven, refrigerator, dishwasher, coffee maker), a double room (2 mattresses 90x200cm) a 2 Bed room (each 90x200cm), bathroom with shower and washing machine.
The approximately 20 square meter terrace is equipped with a large parasol, table, chairs, barbecue, teak loungers and deck chairs and offers a sunny and sheltered outdoor spot.
Especially nature lovers and people who want to relax from the everyday hectic, will feel comfortable here. Hikers and mountain bikers as well!

If you are looking for peace but also the proximity of many activities, you will feel well in Saint Jurs.
The small village with a height of 925 meters is the highest point of the Plateau de Valensole. Behind the village, an unpaved road meanders through the pine forest into the mountains of the Mont Denier massif. Here it stays relaxed in midsummer.
Spring and fall are highly recommended and ideal for hiking or mountain bike tours. It is quieter and the markets and nature highlights such as the Gorges du Verdon can be visited and enjoyed without hassle. Even in winter, the place and the area has a special charm.
In Puimoisson (7 km) or Riez (14 km), many small cafes and boules courts invite you to linger.

The stunning Gorges du Verdon, the Lac de Sainte Croix and the picturesque Lac d'Esparron, Moustiers-Sainte-Marie, Quinson and its prehistoric museum are some of the highlights of the region.
The area is ideal for hiking, mountain biking, paddle boating, canoeing, swimming in nearby lakes or rafting in the gorges, climbing, high wire garden and horseback riding.
All this can be done in this beautiful landscape.
In the village, in sight of the house, there is the Café & Restaurant "Bellevue", where bread and croissants can be ordered the next morning.
For shopping you have to go to Puimoisson or Riez, which both have weekly markets and supermarkets.
In Digne Manosque or some large supermarket chains are represented.

Reservation, handover and payment:
A reservation is only possible in connection with a deposit of 25% of the total rental price.
The balance is due no later than two weeks before departure.
Since our house is often reserved by regular guests who book up to one year before the rental period, it is difficult in case of cancellation to find a new tenant in time.
Therefore, please understand the below listed cancellation fees:
* Cancellation of the reservation more than 90 days before the rental period 20%
* Between 90 and 30 days: 50%
* Less than 30 days: 100%
Each booker receives a lease for the booked time.
A deposit of Euro 300.- is to be paid in addition to the rent, which will be refunded no later than 2 weeks after the end of the rental period and return of the keys.
