Why Lauri chose Mesa

We love the desert and there is so much to do here with the park nearby. We're also within a few minutes to food shopping, coffee shops, convenience stores, and gas. Close freeway access takes you to malls, movie theatres, hospitals, public transportation, and the airport.

What makes this house unique

Sitting on the patio and watching the quail, rabbits and other wildlife wander by. Enjoying sunrises or sunsets up on the deck. Being visited by a neighborhood owl while on the view deck. Hiking in the park, going to the Boyce Thompson Arboretum (~1/2 hour away) or sightseeing nearby.

Our Stay was Awesome

  • 5 of 5

Our stay here was awesome, wonderful hosts! Wonderful view of the superstition mountains, especially first thing in the morning during the sunrise. Would highly recommend this place if looking to stay out away from town, we will definitely stay here again!

This was a great get away location

  • 5 of 5

We especially enjoyed this rental for the approximate location to all the things we wanted to visit in the Mesa area. We also enjoyed the quiet mornings, walks in the Usery Park, and the general friendliness of the surrounding area. The room was clean, comfortable and adequate to our needs in every way. I have no hesitation in recommending this room. There was so much more available than we had time or opportunity to take advantage of.

This location exceeded our expectations!

  • 4 of 5

We were delighted with our two week stay at Superstition Mountain VRBO! The studio apt. Is spacious with lovely high ceilings. The shower is nicely appointed and was supplied with high quality products. The towels were luxious. The closet space is well designed and plentiful. The queen size bed is very comfortable. Our hosts responded quickly to any inquiries and even provided a few groceries to help us on day one! We had use of a peaceful patio area with barbeque and could also sit on the roof balcony to enjoy the mountain view. The view will stay with us for a long time-beautiful cactus and other plants in the backyard and mountains in both directions, marvellous! Hiking trails are only 10 minutes away on foot. We enjoyed several day trips that were only 30 minutes drive. Our only suugestion would be an indoor easy chair. The weather was quite cool some of the time, so sitting outdoors wasn't always an option. Many thanks to our hosts for an excellent holiday rental!

Perfect Getaway from the cold!

  • 5 of 5

Casita had everything we needed! Close to Usery Park where we ride our bikes, and far enough away from the hustle-bustle of the city. Quiet, clean and perfect for the 2 of us. Beautiful sunrises and lovely hosts. Second time staying here!

Relaxing in the Desert

  • 5 of 5

We enjoy nature and hiking. This was the perfect stay. Usery Mountain Park was one and a half blocks away. Our favorite time was relaxing on the patio from 3 - 5 p.m. where we listened to the birds, watched a dove nesting in a saguaro cactus, and enjoyed the "critters" scampering around the area. The view of the Superstition Mountains added to the experience.

The casita fit our needs for sleeping, cooking and watching TV. We managed to use our laptop, but a welcome addition would have been a small table or large TV tray for that purpose. The patio was well equipped and the resident family helpful and considerate. Shopping was convenient and the 202 freeway facilitated reaching other locations.

If we return to Arizona, we will stay here if it is available.

Perfect stay in Mesa!

  • 5 of 5

I had a great stay in this beautiful casita in Feb and Mar 2014. The room was perfect for me and my cocker spaniel. The views are great and Laurie and Mike were wonderful hosts. The casita had everything we needed! Nice location - close to everything! Laurie made sure there was some basic supplies for me when I arrived which was very nice. I would recommend this casita to my friends.

Hiking and mountain bicycling or horseback riding in Usery park is walking distance and hiking in the Superstition Mountains is a short drive.
