This private home has all the personal touches to make your stay enjoyable, because we also use it as our second home. Individually-owned but professionally managed, this is the place you will return to year after year. Property manger lives near by so any maintenance issues or problems are taken care of promptly.

Relax with your family and friends in this well-appointed home with 4 bedrooms, 3.5 baths and a 2-car garage. This luxury ski residence has three fireplaces, a private hot tub and two master bedroom suites with private baths (one with jetted tub).

New heated boot closet dries out boots and gloves overnight -- works great.

The floor plan works well for many combinations of family and friends. Each master bedroom has a king bed, a large third bedroom has two queen beds, and the fourth bedroom has a bunk bed. A large sofa sleeper in the family rooms sleeps two. Sleeps 4-10 comfortably.

Also convenient to grocery stores, shopping and entertainment, and to Park City ski resorts. 20 minutes to downtown Salt Lake and 25 minutes to the airport.

Right before your stay we send you tips and recommendations for things such as restaurants and shopping, and also info on a great massage service that comes right out to our ski home. We have skied Utah for over 30 years, so we can answer most of your questions and provide you with information so you can make the most of your ski vacation.

About Jim Rock

Winter is the best season to enjoy northern Utah, but summer is magical as well. It is great to travel to southern Utah to hike in the numerous national parks. Grand Staircase-Escalante National Monument and Capitol Reef National Park to two areas that don't have the crowds of the more well know areas like Bryce, Zion and Arches.

Why Jim Rock chose Utah

We rented the same place for our ski vacations that we loved year after year. Then it was sold. We then rented a different place every year. Some were nice, some were dumps, none were ever quite right. So we bought our ski home at Canyon Place and fixed it up the way we wanted. We think its the kind of place you will want to return to year after year. The location in Cottonwood Heights is great, with easy access to seven ski resorts while at the same time convenient to restaurants, shopping and entertainment.

Perfect location for skiing and both Little Cottonwood Canyon and also Big. Also handy from the airport and getting downtown for the event Vivant arena and ball games. Satisfactory accommodations and stuff. Would do it again.

Good location: near entrance to Little Cotton Canyon; 40 min to Deer Valley; 65 min to Snow Basin. Very high end home. Very well stocked kitchen; we eat all our meals at home. Two living rooms, three fire places, large TVs,dvds, HOT TUB !! ( NICE apre skiing); very nice bedrooms,two car garage. Our family has stayed here for our last six ski vacations,so it's obvious we love the place. Also very responsive owner and local agent. Enjoy. Eric C.Herr, Spofford NH

Perfect Ski Headquarters

My group of 6 had an absolute blast at the townhouse as it served as the ideal headquarters for our ski trip. The condo provides excellent access to the resorts and then provides the perfect place to relax after an exhausting day on the slopes. It was immaculately clean and meticulously appointed. The care taken to outfit the place with everything to make you feel at home on a ski getaway was obvious. We couldn't have been more comfortable. Jim was an exceptional host and we hope to come back again. You can't go wrong with this one.

Guys powder week

We have been renting condos for ski trips for several years and this was the best yet. The unit was clean, in good repair, recently updated, well stocked and very convenient to both big and little cottonwood canyons. The property manager was extremely helpful and everything about our stay was tops. Highly recommend this property of all.

Another great stay

We have been staying in Jim Rock's ski homes in Cottonwood Heights since at least 2010. This time we were a group of 8 (my husband, myself, two uncles, and four teens/young adults) and the house accommodated us beautifully. This condo is thoughtfully equipped, well-maintained, and immaculately clean. My favorite features are the heated boot closet, the well-equipped kitchen, and the list of restaurant recommendations. There are also a ton of board games. We appreciate the condo location on busy ski mornings, as it is close to the entrance of Little Cottonwood canyon. Communication with Jim and his property manager, Stacy, is always excellent. We hope to stay here again.

Perfect Place for Family Gathering

So glad we chose this place! This townhouse had everything we needed for a great week with our adult children. It was the an ideal location at the base of the canyon. The home was clean, well-appointed and so comfortable. We totally enjoyed our stay and will definitely come back again!!!
