The Mare Cottage has just been renovated and is very well thought out and tastefully decorated. In the Mediterranean-summery house, every detail is really right. For example, the kitchen is complete and very well equipped - cooking is really enjoyable here, especially since there are good shopping opportunities nearby. There is also a washing machine, ironing board and iron. The house has one bedroom with air conditioning and a double bed. In the air-conditioned living area there is a solid sofa bed for two people and there is also a sofa bed so that the house is also suitable for a family with children. However, we recommend it as an ideal hideaway for couples in love. For trips to the beautiful beaches of the south coast and the hinterland worth experiencing, we recommend a rental car!


Mare Cottage Ferienhaus is located in Ierapetra of Crete, Europe’s

A pristine sandy beach is located directly below the cottage and is easily
accessed by foot within moments from the front gate. The beach has been

families alike. The cottage contains a bedroom with a double bed, a bathroom, a fully
equipped kitchen with a dining area, and an adjoining lounge area with an
internet-ready smart TV. There are two sofa beds one a double bed and
one a single bed. So, a washing machine, an iron and ironing board are
available. There is free Wi-Fi in all areas and all rooms are supplied with air
conditioning and ceiling fans. There is an outside shower for your use after a beach visit. The private parking in the gated yard, right next to the house door, is convenient
when carrying luggage. It can accommodate on one level a family of four, parents and two
children, who want the unique "on-the-sea" feeling, plus the beautiful view
of the blue of the Libyan Sea, from the inside and outside of the house.
A local restaurant serving fresh fish is only seconds away from the home,
and a mini market and a supermarket are at a short distance (5 minutes)
with everything you may need. Hersonissos is 68 km from the holiday home, while Agios Nikolaos is 32 km away. The nearest airport is Heraklion International Airport, 90 km from
Mare Cottage.
In Mare Cottage you can enjoy carefree holidays. You can engage in various activities, such as horseback riding, sea sports (waterskiing,
Windsurfing, jet skiing, etc ...), or you can arrange trips to the island of
Chrissi, known for its exotic beaches (a 20-minute boat trip away).
