About Bina Breitner
I grew up in Arizona and returned gratefully after spending decades in cold harsh climates where I dreamed every winter of southwestern sunsets, bougainvillea, and palm trees. Now I have them again, and I invite you to share them. My house has a fully equipped apartment that goes directly out to the solar-heated pool and large garden patio with a pergola and places to bask or eat. There's a separate private entry to the guest unit, as well as access to good laundry machines only steps away. Everything is included. Guests have their own wireless internet, security alarm, premium cable TV, heating/cooling thermostat, and cooking facilities. There's plenty of closet space, good light, and a high-end Stearns & Foster queen bed in the bedroom. Cleaning service is available if you want it.
Bina Breitner purchased this Apartment in 2005
Why Bina Breitner chose San Clemente
I bought the house because I fell in love with its grace and privacy, its protected gardens, and its location in one of the original Tucson neighborhoods, San Clemente, which is now a nationally designated 'historic' district. The house is from 1938; the apartment was added later but is in the same style. The location is excellent -- it's quiet but central, with easy access to restaurants, parks, zoo, tennis, golf, shopping, biking, hiking, and the university.
What makes this Apartment unique
This location has the advantage of being centrally located but very private. It's an oasis in town.

end of March
Had a great stay in Tucson - this location is very central. Great restaurants and local sites. Bina is a gracious host. We were very comfortable.
My great pleasure. I’m glad to have hosted you.
Crozy, convenient, and well maintained
We had a very pleasant stay at Bina's.Her apartment lived up to all our expectations. We were close to everything we wanted to do. We saw friends, had great meals and went on 3 beautiful hikes. One iin the Catalina Mountains, One in Saguaro National Park and one in Sabino Canyon. We were here just in time to see spring desert flowers- amazing. Go to Bobo restaurant for the best pancakes i ever had.
I enjoyed having you here. I'm glad you were comfortable. And, for myself and future visitors, I'm glad to know about Bobo's! Thanks.
Relaxing Tucson Casita
Very good location for exploring Tucson. In a very quiet neighborhood. Bina has the kitchen well set up with everything you would need.. There is no oven - but we never found that to be a problem. Great private backyard with nice pool - we did not swim as the weather was not warm. We loved !! her 2 sweet small dogs. Overall a good choice for us 👍.
There is an oven - it's part of the triple-system microwave/grill/convection oven. Most people just use the microwave function, and the gas grill on the patio is better for grilling. But there is an oven function, and I know it works, because tenants once shared with me the chocolate cupcakes they'd made in it.
It was great having you here. Thanks -- Bina
Very nice place
We enjoyed our stay in Tuscon and the apartment worked out perfect for us. We very much enjoyed the pool area. It had the privacy we wanted. Thank you Bina, We will be back if it works out for us.
Happy to see you anytime. Thanks!
We had a wonderful stay, the apartment was centrally located in a quiet neighborhood.
We recommend staying with Bina. The apartment was a good base of operations being centrally located, close to the botanical garden, in a very quiet neighborhood and fully furnished in good taste. One of the highlights of our trip was a drive to the Whitewater Draw Wildlife Reserve which Bina had mentioned where 25,000 sandhill cranes winter! Given we were on the road it was very nice to have full laundry setup (with a laundry line as we like to hang our wash out to dry) THANK YOU Bina :)
The apartment is conveniently located in 'Central' Tucson, about 4 miles from the University of Arizona and with easy access to downtown, the Foothills, hiking in the Catalina mountains or Sabino Canyon, and (one block away) Reid and Randolph Parks with tennis, golf, biking, an excellent zoo, and many indoor activities. Tucson has more than its share of good restaurants (supported by its many visitors). The city's wonderful art-movie house ('The Loft') is nearby, as are several malls with shops and movie complexes.
The neighborhood itself is catalogued as nationally 'Historic' and has mostly professional inhabitants. There are no sidewalks or streetlights; it's very pleasant for walking.
