My little Ranchita suits me just fine. It seems like I am out in the big wide open desert, but I am really in town, with all the big-city conveniences at my fingertips.
My children are grown and moved away. I can't imagine leaving this wonderful place. I have downsized downstairs so to speak, turning the upstairs into private rooms. Come share my little ranchita. You will love it as much as I do.
The property owner is wonderful and did everything possible to make us feel at home and comfortable. She was available and quick to assist us with all our needs.
The grounds were well beyond our expectations. We stayed for a month in the Cowgirl Room on the second floor. We shared a new kitchen with another tenant with no problems and had full access to outdoor property. We enjoyed the beautifully landscaped yards , patios with lovely furniture, fire pit and barbeque. Everything inside and outside the house was exceptionally well kept up with very high quality furnishings. From the deck on the second level we enjoyed watching sunrise and sunsets.
It was a peaceful, relaxing, cool retreat and we would recommend The Ranchita to all. It has a true Tucson feel. We also took advantage of the central location for restaurants, golf, hiking and shopping.
We enjoyed our stay at the Triangle5Ranchita. The property is near the end of a quiet street with lots of open space desert around it. The room was a rooftop apartment that was clean and well-appointed. Thankfully, there was plenty of storage space for the two of us and the gear for many activities we planned around Tucson. Greer was very hospitable and ready to help at every turn. We even brought our labradoodle with us and while we were away during the day, a fenced enclosure kept her safe. The other tenants staying on the property were friendly and respectful. Everything was clean and maintained nicely. We enjoyed the views from our windows and the nearly new bathroom. There are steps to the rooftop and a few added steps inside the apartment so the mobility-impaired should consider that. I'd recommend this for most short-term Tucson visitors. We previously owned a vacation home in Tucson and enjoy going to the Desert Museum, restaurants (Caruso's!) and other businesses unique to Tucson.
Just like in the photo. Private entrance to the upstairs apartment with a private bath, bedroom and a shared closed off kitchen. Had no problems with my neighbor guests upstairs. Most of my stay was up and out early and back late.
Cable TV and Wi-Fi, every thing I needed. Would stay again and highly recommend.
My husband and I spent four weeks at this lovely house in Tucson. We occupied a large upstairs room with large new bath and king size bed. In addition we had the use a an adjacent kitchen which was well stocked with everything one would need to cook and we did so many nights. A great addition was a nice porch which sat up above the trees and we often sat there in the evening and watched the sunset over the mountains. The porch looked south so we could also see the sunrise (both were often spectacular). A gentlemen was in another room on the same floor but never used the kitchen, so we basically had it to ourselves.
Greer was a lovely host and was always gracious and helpful and actually saved me from a nasty encounter with a cholla cactus. We had a car which is necessary and drove all over the area and took in many sites, aided by a coupon book, in our visits to different areas.
We would recommend this location to anyone.
The room was as advertised: clean. bright and well decorated. The location is convenient to just about everything. A stay here is much more enjoyable than any hotel I have visited, thanks to the owner's hospitality.
We had a great experience staying at this property The room, which was very clean, had everything we needed for a perfect stay. The bathroom was nice but only had a shower for those who care about that sort of thing (didn't matter to us). The owner couldn't be nicer and her dog, Gemini, was so sweet. Especially enjoyed the private balcony which was great for watching sunsets, bird watching, star gazing and just lounging around (morning coffee/evening glass of wine/reading). Also liked the hot tub which was very clean and well maintained. The property has a large brick patio with several BBQ grills and a fire pit for evening campfires. It was private and comfortable so in a way, it felt like home to my wife and me. When we go back, we'll be staying here. You can't go wrong with this choice!
