We'll be back!
My husband, brother and I rented the cottage for our niece's christening weekend and it was the most perfect getaway. We spent a lot of time just sitting outside at the picnic table, enjoying the sights and sounds (and occasional pig or cat that would wander up). Our two dogs LOVED the space to run and interacted so sweetly with all the other animals. Ross Hill Farm is a wonderful place and we totally plan to book this property again the next time we visit our family up there!

A place to step back in time
What a delightful little place! The whole experience really begins well before you get there because for miles, we drove past lush green pastures, farms, a beautiful railroad track with old feed store, and then the nature preserve with this beautiful creek with rock bottom. The drive there just calms the spirit and then you pull up to this delightful little cottage that is so simple and charming that all the cares of today just melt away. You can't see a house around you (but you will see lots of deer and we had a potbelly pig visit us). The cottage itself had beautiful landscaping and flowers galore. The kids thought they were in a storybook cottage.

Relaxing
Took a trip here as a graduation gift to my daughter who LOVES pigs. Went to the farm daily for visits with all the pigs. And had an early morning piggy visit at the cottage. Susan was great, explaining about the pigs. The cottage was very comfortable and cute. I can very easily see a return visit in the future.

Quaint, cozy, step back in time and fun
My daughter is obsessed with pigs so we rented this adorable cottage and wanted to volunteer with the pigs. Ben was wonderful guiding us in as MapQuest was confused😩. Susan was wonderful to work with and kept asking how everything was with the cottage throughout the weekend. The cottage was set just on the outskirts of the farm with a small creek running along the side. Unfortunately, due to a northeaster which was coming through, we were not able to utilize the picnic table nor outside fire pit. The cottage is circa 1800 and comes with all the old world charms - stone hearth, beamed ceilings, narrow stairs with the low ceilings. There was no tv or wifi which my husband and I loved. There were plenty of books and DVDs (pig related - Babe, Piglet, etc). We also had the fireplace going the whole time. There is twin beds and full bed in two separate rooms upstairs. Downstairs you have a futon in the living room, kitchen, bathroom and enclosed porch. There is a Wawa about 5 mins away for the am coffee run. We volunteered with the pigs and cleaned bowls, mopped, swept, folded towels, etc. My daughter even fell in love with Little Pig❤ If you are looking for the Taj Mahal, this is not for you. If you are looking for a relaxing getaway in a quintessential Bucks County cottage, this is for you.
