This full-facility resort is located on the southern slope of Steinkopf, at an altitude of 350 to 410 meters above sea level. Situated between the Fulda and Werra Rivers, the small village of Ronshausen / Machtlos offers an excellent mild air quality. The large holiday park consists of 170 houses, and is a paradise for children and an oasis of rest and relaxation for adults. In and around the main building there are excellent facilities including a reception area, restaurant, indoor pool (14 x 5 m), sauna, solarium, table tennis tables (inside & outside), a simple indoor play area and a children playground. Several sports and playing fields are also located in the park. There is even a tennis court and a grilling/campfire area. For the children (primarily during the high season) there are a variety of challenging activities such as crafts and painting projects, tractor ride through the countryside, barbecue campfire with bread on a stick, guided walks, bike rides. Overall, this is an ideal place for a pleasant holiday in a beautiful environment with plenty of activities for all ages.

This hilltop located single storey house (type “Scout 42”) has a living area of approximately 42 m2. It can offer accommodation for up to 3 people and it is ideal for smaller families or friendly couples. The living room has a sitting area with TV (satellite) and a double sofa bed. Furthermore, the fully equipped kitchen includes a dining area, 4 hotplates, a refrigerator, an electric oven and coffeemaker. The bathroom has a shower, sink and toilet. The bungalow has one bedroom with a double bed. All bungalows are individually decorated, cozy and comfortable and have a terrace, complete with garden furniture.


The Ronshausen-Machtlos open-air spa is situated in the middle of Germany, in the land of Hessen, just a few kilometers from the former border crossing. Situated far from the hustle and bustle of city life, here you will find quaint little towns and villages, fairytale castles, forests with castles and picturesque half-timbered villages. In the vicinity of the park you will find hiking and cycling paths (118km), adventure playgrounds and various sports and leisure facilities including a modern outdoor pool with water slide and a mini-golf course (Ronshausen). There is a large, protected nature reserve called 'Waldhessen', which is bounded by vast forests and contains romantic valleys and lakes. The enchanted woods invite you for impressive hikes, horseback riding or cycling. The region offers many attractions and is also known as 'the Land of 40 castles'. For example, you can visit the magnificent castle of Wartburg, which is situated on a hill 441 meters above the city of Eisenach (44km) or a beautiful medieval castle in Bad Hersfeld (26km). The large bustling town of Kassel (85km) has plenty to offer including museums, castles (Wilhelmshöhe, Löwen-burg) and large parks and gardens with fountains, waterfalls and other water attractions. Kassel also has numerous events such as “Documenta“, the international art exhibition (held once every five years since 1955). This is the most important exhibition of contemporary visual art in Western Europe. Not only lovers of nature, sports and culture will enjoy this region - those who are connoisseurs of fine food will also enjoy it. The well-kept Ronshausen  park complete with versatile environment ensures a wonderful holiday!
