WELCOME TO CASA INFINITO.
Nestled on a secluded jungle ridge with a panoramic view of Jacó's popular Hermosa Beach, Casa Infinito is an unforgettable vacation retreat for couples, families, and adult groups with an appreciation for natural splendor and upscale comfort. The stunning 3-level, 5-bedroom home, designed by award-winning architect Andrés Serpa, is set in the folds of Costa Rica’s Valle Perdido (Lost Valley), offering a unique combination of ocean and mountain vistas from floor-to-ceiling windows and multiple open-air terraces.
INFINITY POOL. PRIMARY RAINFOREST.
Casa Infinito takes its name from a crystal clear, sun-warmed, 40-foot infinity pool that runs along the front of the house, overlooking the primary rainforest at Valle Perdido. The valley is a natural habitat for white-faced capuchin monkeys, scarlet macaws, toucans, iguanas, and other wildlife. (The monkeys, in particular, are frequent visitors to Casa Infinito, so don’t be alarmed if they tap on your bedroom window to wake you up!)
MINUTES AWAY. A WORLD APART.
Only five minutes by car from world-class surfing at Playa Hermosa and less than 15 minutes from downtown Jacó, Casa Infinito brings you back to nature without sacrificing easy access to important services and local attractions. The house is 25 minutes from Carara National Park, a 12,800-acre conservation area that is home to almost half of Costa Rica's native bird species, and an hour from the much smaller but still spectacular Manuel Antonio National Park. From hiking and horseback riding to swimming and sunset dining, the diversity of activities along Costa Rica's Central Pacific coast explains why this area consistently ranks as a "Travellers' Choice" top destination.
A ROOM WITH A VIEW. FOR EVERYONE.
Casa Infinito features 5 bedrooms and 3 full baths (2 with double sinks). The main house sleeps 7, while the Jungle Escape Suite, an independent unit with more intimate views of the jungle, sleeps another 2. (See below for a full description of bedrooms, baths, and other amenities.) Unlike beach-side accommodations, which can be plagued by mosquitoes and no-see-ums in the late afternoon and evening, Valle Perdido benefits from a soft mountain breeze that makes for enjoyable outdoor living day and night. In addition, the house is equipped with an advanced climate control system for your comfort.
GOURMET KITCHEN. MOVIES. STARGAZING. AND MORE...
Whether you want to cook up a storm in our gourmet kitchen, relax in a hammock while reading a book, hunker down with a movie from our media library, or retire to the upper terrace to do a little yoga or stargazing while listening to the ebb and flow of the Pacific surf, Casa Infinito is your home away from home. We encourage you to review the comments of past guests to get a better sense of what makes Casa Infinito so special. Many people visit Jacó each year, but only a few experience the majesty of Valle Perdido – and among those who do, the most spectacular sights and sounds are reserved for guests at Casa Infinito.
ONE TEAM. AT YOUR SERVICE.
Special care has gone into building long-standing, trusted partnerships with our local representatives who will greet you, take you to the house, and ensure all of your needs are met during your stay. Jacó is Costa Rica’s closest coastal location from San José’s primary airport, Juan Santamaría International (SJO), meaning you can enjoy more vacation time in every visit.
EXCLUSIVELY FOR YOU.
To protect the natural beauty and serenity of Valle Perdido, and for the security and comfort of our guests and neighbors, only registered guests are allowed at the property. This policy is strictly enforced by 24-hour security.

We fell in love with Costa Rica’s Valle Perdido (Lost Valley) on our first visit – and we have a hunch you will, too! As busy professionals, we were looking for a secluded, upscale vacation retreat that would bring us closer to nature without sacrificing easy access to important services and amenities. Casa Infinito is that place. Nestled in a lush crest of Valle Perdido, Casa Infinito is one of only a small number of vacation homes in the greater Jacó area to combine stunning mountain and ocean vistas with the security of a small, private community that borders a natural wildlife corridor. We invite you to browse through our photos and read the comments of past guests to get a better sense of what makes Casa Infinito so special. If you have questions, please don't hesitate to contact us - we'd love to hear from you!
Victoria and Emilio :)
We were attracted to this property for a number of reasons. First, because Jacó is Costa Rica’s closest coastal location from San José’s primary airport, Juan Santamaría International (SJO). The drive to Casa Infinito is fast and easy on a brand new highway, which means more vacation time in every visit. Second, Valle Perdido is a treasure: close to everything and yet a world apart. From the house, it is only 5 minutes by car to world-class surfing at Playa Hermosa and less than 15 minutes to downtown Jacó. Unlike beach-level properties, the soft mountain breeze at Valle Perdido keeps the mosquitoes and no-see-ums away, making for more enjoyable outdoor living day and night. Plus, Valle Perdido is tranquil (unlike some over-developed parts of Guanacaste and the area around Manuel Antonio National Park). Last but not least, Casa Infinito is reachable by a single access road that is monitored by 24-hour security, ensuring it is both quiet and safe.
Casa Infinito takes its name from a crystal clear, sun-warmed, 40-foot infinity pool that runs along the front of the house, overlooking the primary rainforest at Valle Perdido. The infinity pool is large enough to do laps, but also features in-pool seating for those who prefer to simply relax and take in the mountain and ocean views. If you're up for a challenge, lace up your runners and head out for an early morning hike or jog along the winding access road that connects the Valle Perdido community. The circuit is about 3 kilometers and the hills are steep, but you're sure to get encouragement as you pass the Valle Perdido guardhouse, and you're likely to see monkeys, iguanas, toucans and any number of other creatures along the way!
My family (my husband, my three brothers and their spouses) rented this home for a week to celebrate a 50th birthday and it was perfect. There was plenty of privacy and space for everyone both indoor and out. The owners and management team were very responsive and professional, and their recommendations for airport transportation worked very well for us. Abner the driver was dependable and prompt. The husband/wife management team gave us a thorough tour and said they were happy to assist if we ever needed. The pool is the highlight of this property as you can sit on the deck and look at the pool, the jungle and the ocean. The monkeys finally got used to us the last two days and were often seen on the deck too. Great property with close proximity to Playa Hermosa and Jaco.
That was our nickname for Casa Infinito, lol. Our group thoroughly enjoyed this home. The views were spectacular. The space was very accommodating. We never felt crowded. Most of the time was spent at the pool enjoying the day go by. We didn’t see any monkeys but lucked out in seeing mackaws and other bird types. The owners (Victoria and Emilio) thought of everything to keep you organized and aware of the house amenities and functions. The owners were also very responsive and full of information/recommendations in the weeks before our trip. Sergio, Jeanette, and Abner are extremely nice and helpful staff. They took great care of us and went above and beyond to make sure each of us enjoyed our time there. We will definitely return to Casa Infinito in the future and highly recommend to anyone that wants to have a non-hotel experience in Costa Rica. Definitely use Abner for full day excursions/adventures. His service is top notch. Thank you all for making our first trip to Costa Rica a memorable one.
Casa Infinito is a beautiful and spacious home, with an incredible view of the valley and the Pacific Ocean. We absolutely loved our week long stay here and there was plenty of room for our party of eight, including 4 adults and 4 children, having the jungle escape suite. There was one spot left, the sleeping nook, as a "just in case". The owners, Victoria and Emilio, were a joy to work with! They provided us with lots of information regarding their home as well as activities to try. We had Abner Arias pick us up upon arrival, take us back to the airport when it was time to leave and also take us on a day trip to Manuel Antonio. Abner was so fun to be with, super nice and very knowledgeable about Costa Rica...and we really enjoyed having him drive and not us! Their property managers, Julieta and Sergio, were super helpful getting us settled in and were there for us all week when we had questions. I highly recommend Casa Infinito! Beautiful house and wonderfully relaxing spending time by the pool.
This was trip of a lifetime. When we decided to go to Costa Rica, the size of our group kept growing. I started searching for a home that would accommodate the size of our group. When I came across Casa Infinito, I knew I had found the perfect house. Victoria & Emilio recommended Abner for our airport pickup. He ended up driving us all over Costa Rica, plus he seemed to know everyone. He was able to help us book a private boat charter and our 2 day adventure including Zip lining, Repelling down waterfalls and our ATV experience. We played water volleyball every day in the beautiful infinity pool.
Thank you to Victoria, Emilio, Julieta and Sergio from our whole group.
I booked this home for myself and several friends. The house is very nice and is pretty much exactly as advertised. However, the owners were terrible to deal with and really took away some of the joy of the trip.
The owners had recommended a chef, who I booked through them. He was a very nice guy, showed up on time, and made delicious food. Unfortunately, something had to have been wrong with the preparation, because over the course of the trip all 9 of us got sick including my poor brother who was getting married that weekend. Luckily we found some Cipro that saved him in time. There was no other food that all of us ate so I'm pretty sure it was something we ate at the house. When I mentioned that to the owners, they told me that they had nothing to do with the chef and I should take up any issues with him. I thought it was pretty lame to recommend the guy and take the money to book him and then pretend that they had nothing to do with him, but that was not the worst part. I travel a lot and getting sick is just going to happen once in a while. I can't really be mad at the chef.
The worst part was that when we got back, we were presented with a bill for "extraordinary cleaning" and damage for over $300. They sent pictures of minor stains on pots/pans and the stove which only the chef used. When we stated that we never used those items (if we wanted to cook we would not have hired the chef) they said we were still responsible and we should take up any complaints with the chef, knowing that there was no way we could really do that. Other pictures were of very minor dirtiness that was easily cleaned and should have been included in the general cleaning of the home that they had to do anyway. One picture was of an old ballpoint pen that we allegedly broke for which they charged us $22. We did get some stains on some towels and one rug that I offered to pay for, but when I objected to the rest they refused any dialogue or compromise. Rather than try to engage with me, they just sent messages that looked like they were written by a team of lawyers that pointed back to the rental agreement. It was extremely frustrating. We ended up paying $225 just to be done with the hassle but the whole thing left a worse taste in my mouth than the stomach problems did. I will never rent a property owned by these people again; they clearly value trying to scrounge a few unjustified $ more than trying to ensure that their customers have a good experience.
This trip was planned 2 years ago with family and friends, a group of 6 adults. (Ages 25-54)
My husband and I had been to Costa Rica 3 yrs. previously and we loved it so much that we knew we wanted to go back but share with family and friends.
I came across Casa Infinito and fell in love with it instantly.
All the reviews are well deserved.
Abner picked us up at the airport and was more than patient with us as he took us to the grocery store (Mas Por Menos) in Jaco. They had everything a person would need.
We proceeded to Casa Infinito and what a beautiful home.
This was our home for the next 10 days and we were all very excited.
Gabriel who manages the home for Victoria & Emilio was there at the house waiting for us to show us around and the plentiful amenities.
To my surprise, my daughter had contacted Victoria who in turn directed her to Gabriel. He helped to have a beautiful bouquet of tropical flowers at the Villa when we arrived. This was a Thank you to me from she and my son for everything I had done over the last 2 yrs. To me, this was so amazing and appreciated to everyone that made this happen.
The views from the pool overlooking the lush hills and valleys prompted my daughter to saying "This is like being in Jurassic Park".
We enjoyed this panoramic view from the beautiful infinity pool often.
Our first morning I was enjoying the sounds of the various birds and wildlife waking up sitting on the beautiful balcony off the master suite. I then looked to my right and there was a toucan!
Then the following morning everyone joined us on our balcony and we watched the monkeys in the trees. What more could one ask for?
We have travelled to various places and have rented numerous homes and condos and I have to say, Victoria and Emilio were amazing from start to end. They contacted us while we were there to make sure everything was to our satisfaction which to us, says it all.
We want to say Thank you to Victoria & Emilio and all staff involved from all of us from Nova Scotia/Ontario.
We all have come home with Wonderful Memories that we will cherish forever!!
Mike & Cindy
