Overview

Photos and Description of this North Queen Anne holiday house

Home, 4 Bedrooms (3 queens, adult sized twin setup, den, 3 Bths (Sleeps 8-9

We set out to create a one-of-a-kind home and succeeded. The architecture is modern, yet warm, industrial, yet slightly Asian. It has many influences that are Pacific Northwest but it is worldly in its style. The home is spacious, nearly 3000 square feet and there is plenty of space to be together or have quiet to yourself. Two of the three bathrooms are very large, one with slate shower and jetted tub and a view of the bay. It is wired for music and Wi-Fi.

Not only is this home an amazing place to relax or entertain, but it has two full office spaces and is fantastic for working while you are here. It is set with cabinets, desks, great lighting and tons of space. The offices are located downstairs near the huge TV room but separate so you can have privacy and concentrate. It is close to shopping and downtown Seattle, and Bellevue. It's close to the airport. And it's close to hiking and biking, skiing and swimming. It is pretty perfect!

Whole Foods, restaurants, banks, parks, all you need within minutes drive.

Our home has a living room, dining room and a huge kickback TV room downstairs, with flat screen, couches, and plenty of books to read.

You will love it so much, we hope you will want to come back soon!

About Owner/Manager

Active family who love to travel and socialize. We love entertaining and our home reflects that in its layout, with lots of space for privacy too!

Owner/Manager purchased this house in 1990

Why Owner/Manager chose Seattle

This property is unique for its architectural design, interior design but also its size and closeness to downtown and many other points of interest. Yet, it is a neighborhood that is quaint, safe and lovely.

What makes this house unique

The home architecture has been profiled as a top winner for its design. We worked hard to create a unique, but very warm experience. We believe we hit it! You will love spending time here. The use of natural wood juxtaposed with other materials and the soaring two story ceiling are beautiful and impressive. All of the artwork in the home is original, painted by a beloved family member.

My family stayed here for my son's wedding in Seattle and this beautiful home offered everything we needed. Great neighborhood, perfect location, amazing views and a state of the art sound system! Would not hesitate to stay here again.

A lovely oasis on Queen Anne

  • 5 of 5

We stayed in this lovely home for 6 nights as we celebrated our daughter's wedding. We had 2 elderly mom's with us. The level ground floor bedroom was accommodating for the 92-year-old with limited stair mobility and the bunk bed room worked pretty well for the 86-year-old (she would have liked a hand rail). The only thing lacking on this level was a television and since the 92-year-old can't do steps we didn't watch much which was fine.

The master suite was a great escape upstairs and the views were excellent. The lower level was great for the maid of honor and her fella.

The kitchen was very well stocked and labeled. Recycling is quite the challenge when you aren't used to all of the different bins. I think we managed pretty well and the instructions were pretty clear. Thank you for your lovely home. We will try to come back again soon.

Absolutely perfect!

  • 5 of 5

Seattle Style is a beautiful home located in the lovely, quiet, safe Queen Anne neighborhood of Seattle. The home is beautifully decorated and has absolutely everything you might need. The views from the main floor and second floor decks are stunning! Short drive to all of the Seatle attractions (Google parking options before you go), but public transportation is nearby (be ready to walk up a lot of hills.). Three bedrooms with comfortable queen beds, and one bedroom with bunk beds. Everyone can enjoy their privacy, or gather in the common areas for togetherness. Grocery stores a short drive away, and very good restaurants in Queen Anne and nearby Magnolia. Be sure not to miss Kerry Park for panoramic views of the city. Highly recommend this house.

Beautiful home in the beautiful Queen Anne neighborhood of Seattle. We had a car, and everything is easily accessible. Google parking options before you drive downtown. Public transportation is nearby. Be prepared to walk up a lot of hills :). House is beautifully furnished and well stocked. Everything you need for an enjoyable, carefree stay. Grocery stores nearby. Try some of the cute neighborhood eateries. Absolutely beautiful view from the decks. Don't miss a trip to nearby Kerry Park for a stunning view of the city!

House was very nice, well supplied,

  • 4 of 5

We were there for our daughter's wedding which was held at the Seattle Marriott Waterfront. We were a party of 8 to 9 people including two young children. Everyone was quite delighted with the house. Nicely furnished with many amenities. The decks had wonderful views and the beds were extremely comfortable. The kitchen had everything one could think of in the way of dishes, glassware, cookware, flatware and kitchen gadgets. The owners have thought of everything even down to plastic plates and glasses for little kids. The kids also really enjoyed the varied and interesting supply of toys and books. The wi-fi worked perfectly. There was grocery store access very nearby.

We had minor difficulty figuring out the television even though there were instructions. One of the dads did figure it out finally the first night. The house info said it slept nine but there was only bed space for eight. Probably the biggest head scratcher was the complicated trash/recycling requirement. A good supply of paper bags would have been welcomed. We did seem to spend an inordinate amount of time trying to figure out if something was soiled paper or compost or trash or recycling -- enough that we found ourselves fishing out things from one paper bag container to another hoping we were getting it right.

Everyone that stayed at the house and those that came over for a visit during the wedding were so impressed by this lovely place. We're very glad we stayed there and would do it all over again.

Lovely Home!

  • 5 of 5

I really cannot say enough about this wonderful home! We wanted to rent a home for our college reunion and to celebrate our 60th birthdays and were looking for a home large enough to accommodate our group, requiring four bedrooms. This home worked out perfectly! It is fabulous! It's a beautiful home, great location, wonderful views, and lots of attention to details to make our stay fabulous. We could not have asked for more. I should also add that before arriving we had a few questions to ask of the owner and she was very prompt in responding and could not have been nicer. So if you are looking for a VRBO in Seattle, look no further. This is the place for you! Oh, I should add that in reading the guest book it appears that lots of guests stayed at the home who were there for family weddings or for reunions. This is a great home for that. Thanks again for sharing your home with us! We'll be there again I'm sure for our next reunion/birthday celebration!

Car: recommended

There is so much to do in Seattle, especially around Queen Anne. Just minutes from downtown, yet is a real neighborhood with a quaint main core with restaurants, shops, and more. The home is fulll of artichectural eye candy and very comfortable. A great place to entertain, watch the bay views or sit by the fire and read. The home is only 40 minutes to skiing and in the summer, five to 10 minutes to a great beach. Better yet, stay home and barbeque and enjoy the sun on the deck. Every amenity you desire, Seattle has, and it's all within minutes!

Other Activities: downhill/alpine skiing, boating, snowboarding, health/beauty spa, miniature golf, shopping, kayaking, cross country skiing, basketball court
