About the property

4 Bedrooms 2 Full Bathrooms Sleeps 8-10

Welcome to Paradise--Rainbow Point on Georgetown Lake. More than just a cabin, Cloud 590 is light and airy, with an expansive view of the lake and Pintlar Mountains from the living areas, patio and deck. The floorplan is thoughtfully arranged on two levels to allow both private and community spaces. The main level is accessed by a stairless walkway from the drive to the deck and has two bedrooms, full bathroom, kitchen with breakfast bar, dining area and living room. The daylight basement has another two bedrooms, full bathroom, laundry and large family room.

Enjoy a 2 minute walk down the hill to the lake (less on a snowmobile) via the common area. A public boat launch is found within 5 minutes drive for those getting out on the water, and lake access for the cabin with dock is available at the common area. After a day of exploring what Georgetown Lake, Anaconda and Philipsburg have to offer, you can prepare your own meals with the propane BBQ or in a fully equipped kitchen, share conversation around the cozy fireplaces, or relax watching a video (now equipped with DirecTV and wireless internet). After a restful night on the comfortable beds, you will be re-energized for the next day's adventures. It does not get any better.

Listed rates include cleaning and restocking. Additional lodging taxes and HomeAway/VRBO service fees will be added separately on your invoice. 3 night minimum applies only to Holidays, and rates may be discounted further for last-minute reservations or extended stays--Just Ask!!

excellent view- very accommodating hosts

  • 5 of 5

One can not overemphasize the view from this home- it truly was breath taking with the snowy mountains and sunshine. We enjoyed skiing at Discovery, and crosscountry skiing and ice fishing just below the cabin on the lake. The house was very comfortable. Our hosts answered any questions asap and seemed genuine in their concern that we have an outstanding stay.

Great house for a trip to Discovery.

  • 5 of 5

We stayed in the house with 3 other families and it worked out perfectly. We enjoyed skiing at Discovery and sledding below the house. And the view was fantastic.

Owner's Response: We are so glad you found our cabin a comfortable, well-equipped meeting spot to enjoy the beauty of the area enhanced by your family holiday. It is always a balancing act between offering an affordable price to our guests and replacing every item made less than sparkling from the hard water, age or accidental damage. As I’m sure you can imagine, we can be under quite a bit of pressure to get every detail when a guest overstays their check-out or causes extra charges for removing trash that did not fit into the pick-up container. Even so, we tend not to fault when rating visitors and appreciate hearing specific observations that need to be addressed. As our returning guests know well, we are continually updating. We welcome you to return and find out for yourself.

Wonderful property, view and owners!

  • 4 of 5

This is a great property for the right price. The property was not plowed when we got there but the owner took care of us right away. The only reason there isn't a 5th star is the property was low on toilet paper, the tv didn't work well and the table leg was broken. All no big deals....

Owner's Response: Thank you for choosing to stay with us for your overnight visit. We're glad it was priced appropriately and that we could extend your check out time during the low-demand season. We do regret that you found a few things not up to par, and understand that on the short time frame you were not inclined to reach out for us to attend to these matters. There are usually additional supplies on site that we can direct you to if stocks within the house run low. Please understand that guest feedback is very important, and we will look into the other items mentioned ASAP.

The view was amazing. The owner was very easy to work with. It was perfect for a large group. Plenty of room for everyone to have their own space.
