Overview

Photos and Description of this Anaconda holiday cabin

4 Bedrooms 2 Full Bathrooms Sleeps 8-10

Welcome to Paradise--Rainbow Point on Georgetown Lake. More than just a cabin, Cloud 590 is light and airy, with an expansive view of the lake and Pintlar Mountains from the living areas, patio and deck. The floorplan is thoughtfully arranged on two levels to allow both private and community spaces. The main level is accessed by a stairless walkway from the drive to the deck and has two bedrooms, full bathroom, kitchen with breakfast bar, dining area and living room. The daylight basement has another two bedrooms, full bathroom, laundry and large family room.

Enjoy a 2 minute walk down the hill to the lake (less on a snowmobile) via the common area. A public boat launch is found within 5 minutes drive for those getting out on the water, and lake access for the cabin with dock is available at the common area. After a day of exploring what Georgetown Lake, Anaconda and Philipsburg have to offer, you can prepare your own meals with the propane BBQ or in a fully equipped kitchen, share conversation around the cozy fireplaces, or relax watching a video (now equipped with DirecTV and wireless internet). After a restful night on the comfortable beds, you will be re-energized for the next day's adventures. It does not get any better.

Listed rates include all taxes and cleaning. Nightly rate is discounted according to length of stay. 3 night minimum applies only to Holidays, and rates may be discounted further for last-minute reservations--Just Ask!!

Great get away!

  • 4 of 5

This home is very comfortable and well equipped. There is lots of space. We had two children (2 & 4) and it was a great set up for them also. The views and solitude are amazing. We will definetly be coming back.

Exceptional Cleanliness, Comfort, Location and View

  • 5 of 5

Cloud 590 is the best rental we have found at Georgetown Lake. The view of the lake and the mountains is absolutely breathtaking. The cabin is located at our favorite spot for ice-fishing and regular fishing, with a quick walk down to the lake access. The cabin is immaculate, well-maintained, and the beds and sofas are very comfortable. The kitchen and very nice outdoor barbecue allow for wonderful mealtimes. Bathrooms are clean, with an abundance of nice towels, and the very large flatscreen T.V. downstairs is great for watching movies. The owners are extremely friendly and

helpful. We are planning to stay in January for ice-fishing, and we will be making this our go-to place in Georgetown. The Webbers, Hamilton, MT.

Perfect House

  • 5 of 5

We cannot say enough nice things about our stay. First of all, the house was perfect! The layout was awesome and perfectly accommodated three families. The two separate living spaces allowed for people to do different activities. We had board games and snacks up on the first floor and tv watching down in the basement. It also allowed us to put the small kid to bed downstairs and have fun without worrying about being too loud upstairs. The deck is marvelous with beautiful views of the lake and mountains. We enjoyed breakfast and coffee out there most mornings. And the walk out basement was perfect for sitting outside will grilling dinner. The house was clean and well maintained with pretty much every amenity we could have wanted.

The only downside to the house that we experienced was that one of the nights there was a thunderstorm and it caused the satellite to cut out and we couldn't watch tv. I dont think this can really be helped though, it is just part of satellite tv. The internet also went down one day but the owner came promptly and fixed it for us, so that was not a problem at all.

The walk down to the lake was a bit steep, but didn't give any of us a problem other than being kind of winded after walking back up to the house. You can also drive down most of the way if walking is a problem. We drove down and unloaded our kayaks. The little beach and dock area was great for us. No sand at all and not much space, so not a typical beach experience. But we had a 1.5 year old that wanted to do nothing but throw rocks into the water, so it was perfect! The little beach area is all rocks. There is enough space to set out a lawn chair or two if you want to sit. But the dock also has a nice bench on it for sitting. It was really easy to get our kayaks in and out.

We went into Philipsburg a couple of times and it is a really cute little town. Fun for exploring. The ghost town was disappointing! A very long and steep drive up there only to find out that you have to go on a two hour hike to see anything. So be prepared for hiking if you want to see that.

Overall, we are completely happy with our stay and we hope to be back in the future!
