This was our first stay with these owners and we will definitely be booking again. The property directions were easy to find and the property is both secluded but minutes away from anything you could possibly need. The view from the deck was spectacular and the outdoor furniture and grill was nice to end the day with. The inside was immaculate and well stocked, as well as spacious and comfortable. The linens and towels were hotel quality and more than adequate. The beds were comfortable and extra blankets and pillows were available. The great room and loft allow different activities for all the guests in our party without interrupting each other. The kitchen allowed for creating large meals with every type of cookwear and utensils your could need, including grill tools, and the island is spacious enough to eat at and serve tailgate style meals.
The property is minutes away for all kinds of activities for all seasons, sightseeing, hiking, winter sports, children's attractions, shopping, but also nice for a relaxing getaway to just lounge around and enjoy. Traffic during our stay was heavy but there are a few local roads accessible with your GPS to route you around the bottlenecks.
The owners were wonderful to do business with. All communications and instructions were timely, friendly, and always ended with if you need anything let us know. We will definitely be staying at this property again!
The home was spacious and well appointed, very clean and well maintained. We were six adults and three small children. We appreciated that the house was equipped with safety gates for the stairs, a high chair and bed rails. The open concept living area suited our needs.
The property is secluded and private with a wonderful view of the mountains. There is a grocery store nearby though if you need any supplies. The kitchen was well equipped and most of our meals were eaten at the property. We did have lunch at Delaney's which we all enjoyed.
With the young children, we wanted an easy hike and we found the Ellis Glen Falls trail. It was about 20 minutes from the house to the trailhead. The children loved it and the reward was the beautiful waterfall.
This was a great house in a good location. I would recommend it.
This is our third year renting this home. We had Nana and Papa as well as four adults and six grandchildren staying for the week. There is plenty of room for everyone and the property is very secluded. One of the nice features was that we were able to sit on the deck at night and watch the Perseid meteor showers without any light interference from neighboring homes. The home is very clean and everything is up to date including a new washing machine and steam dryer that sing to you when finished! The kitchen is very well equipped with anything and everything you could possible need. There are so many attractions nearby for everyone. Storyland is less than two miles away and the Saco River is right down the road. Every year we take a vote at the end of our vacation, and it was unanimous again that this is the best house we have stayed at in our eight years coming to the North Conway area.
Our stay was wonderful. This was our second time staying at the house. It was a home away from home. Everything was perfect. Thank you.
My family and I spent a week here and it was excellent! The property location was great, close to the main road (Rte 302) but "far enough" that it was very quiet and serene. There was a long driveway which offered glimpses of deer in the evenings, and a large yard that the kids could run around in. The interior of the house was very clean with modern appliances and fixtures, and the kitchen was very well-stocked.
The property fits the listing description to a tee, and the photos are accurate. The owners were helpful and very responsive to our emails and calls with any questions about the property, both before and during our stay.
This home is close to White Mountain Cider Company - their deli makes great sandwiches and of course, cider donuts! I have heard great things about the restaurant as well; sadly we didn't get a chance to dine there. Attitash, Cranmore, Echo Lake, Cathedral Ledge, & Bear Notch Road/Kancamagus Highway are all a short drive away for myriad activities and hiking, and shopping is also a convenient distance away for outlets, grocery and drug stores, etc.
We would absolutely recommend this property to other vacationers!
We were very impressed with the house. We had 3 children from age 5-8 and two sets of grandparents staying with us. The house was very accommodating to all. It was very clean, updated and well taken care of. We would definitely rent again!
