Our WATERFRONT Penthouse condo at Grande Bay is optimally located in the closest building to charming Cruz Bay Harbor, impeccably decorated in chic, modern Ethan Allen style furnishings and lively, authentic Caribbean style artwork and photography.

This 1 bedroom 1.5 bath condo has been decorated to be suitable for all ages, from young honeymooners to couples seeking an upscale retreat. The setting is perfect for every time of day, from the aroma of your coffee in the morning until your sunset cocktails watching the glorious sunset over St. Thomas, with the enticing smell of the ocean, views of other islands and sounds of palm trees.

The advantages of our 1 bedroom Penthouse over other Grande Bay units:

The unobstructed WATERFRONT view – no other buildings are between you and the water - so the views are impressive! Plus, on our top (4th) floor condo boasts classic Caribbean vaulted ceilings.

The oversized outdoor living area has a covered dining area with seating for four and two lounge chairs and with two large comfortable bar stools and table, great for watching the sunset over the harbor and beyond to the other US Virgins Islands in sight.

You will feel right at home in the living room with all of its conveniences, including a 32” flat screen TV, Cable TV and DVD player. What makes this condo unique

Our condo is located on the top floor of the very front building in the very front, with street level reserved parking. The Penthouse condos have the largest outside verandas

Great Grande Bay Penthouse for 2

We have stayed at several Grande Bay properties. This penthouse in the first row is very nice. Great view and location. Very close to to the Cruz Bay restaurants and bars - Beach Bar, Woody's, Cruz Bay Landing, etc. I would recommend for a party of two, since one bedroom unit. It does have 1 and 1/2 bathrooms, and nice studio type kitchen. Overall, a very nice unit.

Location Location Location

Unimpeded views of Cruz Bay Harbor greeted us every morning on the spacious third outdoor lanai which served as dining, cocktail and sunset watching. Steps away from the "Drink" bar downstairs on the first floor made for easy access to twice weekly social happy hour. Beach bars, restaurants, shopping were all a short three block walk. St John Car Rentals provided our ride with a Jeep for the week. This allowed spontaneous beach hopping and snorkeling on both North and South beaches with ease. Highlights included Hansen Baech Low country shrimp boil on Sunday's, Saltpond beach was the best snorkeling reef, out in the middle of the bay, and Rams Head hike. The condo was exceptionally clean, well appointed and very comfortable and spacious. We wanted for nothing and considered the value a "10". We will plan to use Daniel's unit again next time we return to St John. Bob and Lis

Perfect size and location for 2 visiting St. John

Great place to stay for a couple visiting St. John. Clean, cozy, amazing views, convenient location- close to the fairy and jeep rental places. Pool and fitness room are a bonus. Love starting the day and ending the day on the balcony overlooking Cruz Bay.

Amazing Week!

My husband and I had an amazing week at this penthouse property. The unit was exactly what we were expecting- beautiful views, very clean and a perfect Cruz Bay location. We didn't rent a jeep and were able to easily walk and/or taxi everywhere- beaches, grocery, dinner, shopping, etc. This was our first trip to St. John and we cannot wait to return and experience more of what the island has to offer. Oscar was wonderful- he was waiting for us as soon as we got off the ferry and he gave us a tour of the town pointing out some of the places not to be missed before showing us the condo. This was such a relaxing enviornment to be in, watching the sun come up each morning over the bay and listening to the town wake up. Thank you so much for everything. We are excited to plan another trip soon.

Beautiful property! Wonderful location!

This property was absolutely amazing! From the decor if the condo to the balcony/deck overlooking the harbor! It's beautiful! We were very pleased! The location is Great! We loved being within walking distance to all the eateries and bars! We would definitely stay here again! Our greeter Oscar was great too! He met is at the ferry and took us for a tour around town and showed us to our condo. Made us feel very welcome! This property looks just like the pictures! You want be disappointed! :-)

Beautiful One Bedroom Penthouse

My husband and I spent 4 nights at the Penthouse overlooking Cruz Bay. It was every bit as nice and comfortable as described/pictured on VRBO. It was the perfect size for a couple. The unit was very clean and well maintained. The large deck with the beautiful view of the bay is an additional bonus. There were many amenities in the condo, but the extras such as beach chairs and a small ice chest were great to have available for day trips.

The location is very convenient and walkable to the ferry dock, downtown restaurants and stores. You couldn’t have a better location for ease of use. We did end up renting a Jeep for several days to explore the beautiful beaches and interesting sites on the island. It was great having a parking spot in the condo garage since parking is scarce around town.

The customer service was fantastic. We were met at the ferry terminal and escorted to the condo. Oscar was so kind to acquaint us with the use of the equipment within the unit. It felt very welcoming to have his assistance.

I would highly recommend this property to our friends, relatives or come back again. We truly enjoyed our stay.

The Virgin Islands National Park Visitors Center is located a short walk along the waterfront from Grand Bay, which is the welcome center to our beautiful National Park beaches and hiking trails! Trails range from very easy to a bit challenging.
