Our one bedroom condo is perfect for a couple who want all the amenities of an upscale condo and the intimacy of your own home.

Our WATERFRONT Penthouse condo at Grande Bay is optimally located in the closest building to charming Cruz Bay Harbor, impeccably decorated in chic, modern Ethan Allen style furnishings and lively, authentic Caribbean style artwork and photography.

This 1 bedroom 1.5 bath condo has been decorated to be suitable for all ages, from young honeymooners to couples seeking an upscale retreat. The setting is perfect for every time of day, from the aroma of your coffee in the morning until your sunset cocktails watching the glorious sunset over St. Thomas, with the enticing smell of the ocean, views of other islands and sounds of palm trees.

The advantages of our 1 bedroom Penthouse over other Grande Bay units:

The unobstructed WATERFRONT view – no other buildings are between you and the water - so the views are impressive!

The expansive outdoor living area has a covered dining area with seating for four, two lounge chairs, and two comfortable bar stools and table, great for watching the sunset over the harbor while enjoying an evening cocktail. The views are breathtaking!!

You will feel right at home in the living room with all of its conveniences, including a 32” flat screen TV, Cable TV and DVD player. The kitchen has top of the line stainless steel appliances and granite countertops with all of the conveniences of home and more, such as a Keurig (coffee maker), blender, toaster oven – everything you need to relax and enjoy your home away from home.

The ample sized bedroom boasts a queen sized bed with luxurious bedding, plantation blinds, and is decorated with photography by renowned local photographer and artist John Baldwin and other artwork by popular Caribbean artists.

The bedroom’s large half bath has ample storage and counter space and privacy, and the full bath includes a shower.

Covered parking is conveniently located directly on the harbor front road at ground level; the assigned parking space is just steps to the elevator that takes you to the fourth floor.

We have representatives on island that "meet and greet" our guest, manage the details of the condo, as well as to ensure your vacation experience is relaxing and pleasant.

What makes this condo unique

Our condo is located on the top floor of the very front building in the very front, with street level reserved parking. The Penthouse condos have the largest outside verandas.

This Penthouse location has a huge outdoor patio for dining, sunbathing, or just watching the sunset. Plenty of room to do Yoga or Pilates as well, or just relax on the chaise lounges or at the dining table. Check in is after 3:00 pm, check out is 10:00 am

Great place to stay!

We had a great time at this condo, it seemed to have new pillows, had ample towels and kitchen items, along with beach chairs and a small beach cooler. The parking spot was convenient to have as well.

Very clean, views were great. The pool and hot tub were great after a day at the beach. Beautiful sunsets and it was nice to eat dinners on the patio.

We would definitely stay here again!

Perfect accommodations right in downtown Cruz Bay. Excellent Amenities and well equipped unit. Loved having morning coffee and afternoon cocktails on the balcony. Only recommendation is a more comfortable bed.

Great views, location and amenities

The 1 bedroom, 1.5 bath condo at Grande Bay indeed had the fantastic reviews of Cruz Bay as reported. It had all the amenities one could need for a visit to St. John with the added bonus of being basically right in town. Some of the great bars and restaurants are just downstairs. The unit itself is in good, comfortable condition overall. The only criticism I would have is to echo some of the earlier reviews that the bed is pretty hard and the pillows on the flat side of things. We slept fine on it, but it could have been a lot more comfortable. Hopefully the owners make an upgrade when possible as otherwise it was the perfect place for us to stay. The included parking spot available for your rental in the garage was a nice extra as well!

Cruz Bay Penthouse

The location and views from the large deck of this condominium were extraordinary! Just a few steps from town, all the shops and restaurants were an easy walk. This one bedroom, 1.5 bathroom condo was clean and well kept. The efficiency kitchen was small but workable. The decor was nice and in the Caribbean style. The internet was reliable, and the gym and swimming pool facilities on property were great. The manager, Oscar was wonderful and very helpful with everything. The only complaint that I had was that it was a platform bed and I thought that the bed could have been more comfortable with a mattress topper. I let the owners know, and they responded almost immediately. There is no BBQ, but according to the owners, a BBQ is against local ordinances, which is unfortunate, as that deck would be a perfect spot for a small one. On the bright side, there is a place in town where one can buy BBQ chicken to go. Cruz Bay is recovering after Irma and Maria, but there were a couple of blackouts while we were there. That isn't the fault of the resort complex, but rather residual effects from the massive hurricanes that the island survived and the damaged infrastructure. The blackouts were generally only a couple of hours long, and there is a flashlight in the condominium, and emergency lighting in the hallways and stairs. We watched a movie on my laptop through one of the blackouts, and it was fun! The elevator worked during the two blackouts, as it's run on generator power when the power goes out. The beaches on the island are as beautiful as they ever were, but there is still some residual debris (cut up trees and branches) along the roadways that is still being cleaned up all over the island. This is one of my favorite places in the Caribbean and we were very happy to have had the opportunity to help with the economic recovery and spend some tourist dollars there. The essence of the island is the same, and the people are as lovely and pleasant as they were on all of our previous trips to St. John.

The views were amazing!

We have been coming to this property for many years now. We always have an awesome stay!! Research of many condos in Cruz Bay have consistently made this one a standout. The hurricanes have come and gone. St John is as strong as ever! The infrastructure is nearly as it was pre-Irma/Maria. Beaches are beautiful, less shade than before. It’s time for everyone who loves St John to come back!!

The Virgin Islands National Park Visitors Center is located a short walk along the waterfront from Grand Bay, which is the welcome center to our beautiful National Park beaches and hiking trails! Trails range from very easy to a bit challenging.
