Nestled in the heart of North Vancouver close to downtown and the North Shore Mountains. Ideally located in a quiet cul-de-sac close to major transit routes, with easy access to both summer and winter recreational activities, you will find our Cape Cod styled house a great base to explore or visit friends and family.

Our home offers a renovated, fully furnished, large suite that provides our guests with comfortable, self-contained accommodations. Guests are treated to a private entrance accessed from the back of the property through a south facing, beautifully landscaped and fully fenced back yard which is also shared with the Owners who live above on the main floor. Parking is available in front of the house.

This 'Whistleresque' suite is finished to exacting standards to ensure a comfortable stay with all amenities. Sunny and spacious with over 750 sq.ft, of comfortable open-plan living space, hardwood and slate tile floors and a king-size super-comfortable bed guests remark about. There is also a new small HDTV in the bedroom.

The large kitchen features custom cabinets and new stainless steel appliances throughout including dishwasher and microwave, is very well equipped and opens into a large eating space which flows into a large airy living room with a new flat screen HDTV & DVD player.

High speed internet access via WIFI, on demand hot water and separate controls to both base board and forced air heating ensures you can relax and enjoy your home away from home.

Quiet, clean, beautiful neighbourhood, short walk to a nice coffee shop “Le Petit Cafe”. A little bit far away from downtown but a lovely peaceful area.

Clean basement suite but NOT A WHOLE HOME RENTAL!
First, the positives: the suite is clean and well-appointed. Within, you will find all you need to relax during your stay: books, jigsaw puzzles, TV service, and a very comfortable king sized bed. The kitchen has all you need to cook and eat meals during your stay. That being said: THIS IS NOT A WHOLE HOME RENTAL. This is a multi-level home with a finished basement where the host family lives ONSITE, upstairs. The laundry room AND BACKYARD are shared spaces. The listing states "Private backyard with hot tub", which IS NOT THE CASE. The hot tub is in the host family's backyard, in full view of all of their yard-facing windows, just below their fully open deck. From within the basement 'suite', you can hear every move the host family makes upstairs...and they have a young child and an active dog. If you are a late sleeper or would even like to enjoy just 1 late morning, this is not the suite for you! You will be awake as soon as anyone is moving around upstairs--and they get up early to get their little one off to school. The host family is very nice but you will SEE and HEAR them every day of your stay. As long as a renter is aware that they are sharing the home with a host family, contrary to all of VRBO's advertising, and is okay with this arrangement, the space itself inside is great. For me, a young adult visiting a friend in the area, it gave off major vibes of living in my parents' basement and all the 'privacy' of that situation.

Quiet North Vancouver Get away
I had a fantastic stay at this VRBO! The atmosphere was peaceful and quiet, allowing for a relaxing experience. The kitchen was incredibly well-equipped with every utensil imaginable, making meal preparation a breeze. Street parking was convenient, and having a Safeway down the street was handy for any last-minute needs. Overall, I thoroughly enjoyed my time here and would recommend it to anyone looking for a comfortable and convenient getaway. The downside here was the cell reception of my phone was really bad (Bell). But that wasn't anything to do with the host.

We are a busy, working Family with a Labradoodle named Sydney. We purchased this lovely completely renovated home close to Edgemont Village in a very desirable neighborhood on a quiet leafy cul-de-sac. We are are close to downtown and central to the heart of the North Shore with easy access to Whistler.

Why they chose this property

We are in the perfect location to visit friends and family or explore all the best that Vancouver has to offer including nearby golf courses as well as three local ski hills 10 - 20 minutes away. We are 10 minutes from Grouse Mountain one of Vancouver's premier attractions year round.

We are in the heart of the North Shore and a 15-20 minute walk from Edgemont Village with quaint boutique shops and coffee shops. Park Royal is a 10 minute drive and Lonsdale Quay, Lynn Valley, Capilano Suspension Bridge are all within 15 minutes.

There is a brand new recreation centre 2 minute car ride away.

Recreational activities of every kind are available nearby including hiking, mountain biking, kayaking in Deep Cove and boating in Howe Sound as well as skiing and snow shoeing in the winter months on the nearby mountains.

Ample street parking is available in front of the property.

A Level 2 EV charger is available for longer stays.
