Totally awesome views from every window, very spacious,1300 square feet on one level, a three block walk to downtown restaurants. Adjacent shopping for basics make this one of the finest vacation condos in town. Just look at reviews and pictures........you'll see what this condo offers.

We include a parks pass which will save you a good bit of $. Basic cleaning allowance of 3.5 hours is included for stays of 4+ days which is sufficient if you help just a little before you leave.

Our Canadian home is beautifully furnished and can comfortably handle several adults or a family with young children. Our guests have told us that this condo is simply first class. Please click on the ''comments'' button at the end of this description to see what guests have written in our guest book. A one level, open floor plan creates a very spacious and comfortable space that can handle several people without feeling crowded. It is a corner unit which has a view of 50 miles of spectacular peaks from Cascade Peak and Mount Rundell in Banff past the majestic Three Sisters in Canmore. As you can see in the photos every room has stunning views.

Guests who have stayed at our home have said ---in their reviews---the photos on the website do the views justice.

The town of Banff, 14 miles away, offers many additional shops, restaurants, museums and cultural activities. But........Canmore is the place to stay because it is not touristy.

Hiking and very simple, beautiful walks around the area are delightful.

Five downhill ski areas, including world class Lake Louise, are within twenty to fourty five minutes of the condo. After skiing coming home to underground heated parking and a rooftop hot tub, six stories above Canmore, will add to your pleasure. For your convinence you can leave your skis in a personal locked storage closet adjacent to your parking spot.

For nordic skiers, the Canmore Nordic Center, which hosted the 1988 Olympic nordic events and is five minutes away, offers tremendous nordic skiing in the winter and world class mountain biking in the summer. A major upgrade of the facility in the summer of 2005 allows it to host the prestigious World Cup every two years. There are 84 miles of groomed tracked and skate skiing trails several kilometers of which are lit for night skiing.

The Bow River, which runs through the heart of Canmore, offers world class fishing, gentle rafting/canoeing in addition to riverside trails that provide hours of peaceful walks or bike rides.

Golfers will love the five world class courses within 30 minutes. Two Robert Trent Jones courses in Kananaskis Country, Silvertip, world famous Banff Springs and Stewart Creek are some of Canada's most beautiful courses and will provide enjoyment for all skill levels.

A well equipped fitness room, 24 hr concierge service from an outstanding local property management company and Wireless high speed Internet service in the condo provide you with everything you need to enjoy your stay. The rates include a cleaning allowance of 3.5 hours when you leave.

We've loved sharing our place with people and have done our best to ''do it right.'

PETS: We are pet friendly because we enjoy taking our rat terrier, 'Rat', with us when we travel. We do require a $50 dollar 'basic' pet fee because extra cleaning is required.

My wife Cathy and and I live in Longmont, Colorado,,35 miles north of Denver. She is a retired attorney and I retired after 33 years as the Executive Director of an organization that provides help to low income and homeless families. Although we love Colorado and feel blessed to be here we fell in love with the Canadian Rockies a few years ago and were fourtunate enough to buy a spectular place in Canmore. We were the second person to buy in our building a year before construcition began so we were able to get 'the best' floor plan and views. Everyone who stays says the pictures don't do the views justice. We love sharing it with others. I love taking with people about Canmore and our property so feel free to give us a call with any questions.

Why Terry Benjamin chose Canmore

Canmore is just stunning and the small town feel is much more relaxed than Banff. Things are not as expensive as Banff either. We also love the miles of trails in town that are along Policemans Creek and the Bow River. Access is just across the street from the condo.

What makes this condo unique

location, location, location!!!

Access to downtown, grocery stores and other shops. Trails right across the street make you feel like you are in wilderness. Really! And, roof top hot tub has most stunning views of valley and peaks of anyplace in downtown.

Where to begin? Waking each morning to mountain views from every window; perfect weather; brilliant sunsets and risingmoons above the mountains; hiked Moraine and Emerald lakes; Lake Louise, Takakkaw Falls and in Johnson Canyon; walked on the glacier at Columbia Icefield; took the boast cruise on on Lake Minewanka. Unbelievable scenery--everywhere!!



Our favorite restaurants were: Chez Francois in Canmore for breakfast; Earl's in Banff for lunch; and Murietta's in Canmore for dinner.

Car: recommended

The beautiful Bow River flows through the heart of town and is a five minute walk away. Trails along Policeman's Creek, which is one block from the condo, provides a wilderness walk right in town. We live and hike in Colorado but are simply astounded by the beauty of these in-town trails as well at the majesty of the mountains surrounding Canmore. People who I speak to on the phone about renting our place wonder why we would have a second home in the Canadian Rockies. I respond by saying 'it simply is that beautiful in Canmore.'

In addition to the stunning scenery Canmore has a wonderful variety of unique locally owned restaurants and shops. No mall with the stores or eateries you seem to see everywhere these days. Although the restaurants are great we find ourselves cooking in the very well equipped kitchen most nights. A new Safeway and an upscale Soby's market are next door. If you do want to eat out the eateries are a three block walk away.

Other Activities: spelunking, shopping, horseback riding, rafting, rock climbing

Great space and home base for day tripping

We were so impressed with this vrbo. The views were amazing which may be expected but the care of the place shows and we would certainly recommend it to all. The beds and pillows were comfy and even the pullout couches were great. Loved the roof top hot tub. Very well stocked. I appreciated not having to shop for salt and pepper and other condiments. We easily could have because a great grocery store shared the same lot., as does a Starbucks. I wondered if staying in Canmore was the right decision when we would be day tripping to Yoho park and further but the sites are so great we didn't mind and we really enjoyed the community of Canmore. Thanks again!!

Convenient Location and Great Views.

Everything worked out perfectly; directions, parking, and all the codes worked 😊? The bottle of wine was a very nice touch as well.

The place suited us very well and we were quite pleased with the convenient location. The views from every window didn’t disappoint either and we enjoyed coffee and cocktails with a mountain view. The accommodations were well appointed and the array of cookware and utensils allowed us to prepare most of our meals which was a great advantage.

Overall it was a great place for us with a convenient location for our family celebration. No disappointments in choosing your place as our mountain “base camp”. I would definitely recommend it.

Great location with beautiful views! This home was clean, comfortable and very inviting.

We didn’t even go out to dinner because there were 2 grocery stores within walking distance and we were exhausted from hiking all day. We just made dinner and then relaxed in the hot tub at night. It was also great to have a washer and dryer in the condo. We were able to do carry on and just wash our hiking clothes there. This home helped make our vacation and even greater experience - so much better than staying in a hotel.

Excellent condo in a great location

This condo is beautifully appointed and with all moderns cons required. The location is great as well; it is walking distance to the town centre wit plenty of shops and restaurants and is also next to a large grocery store, Starbucks and other amenities. Everything was well organised and the owner has been most helpful with instructions and guidance. Highly recommended!
