Lovely quiet area, with plenty of choices to eat out.
Our hosts didn’t meet us so it was a bit of struggle to find the key in the lock box in the dark in unfamiliar territory. Once inside though we found a nicely decorated compact area with everything we needed including a huge comfy bed. Public transport is very close , but don’t use it in peak times unless you are used to feeling like a sardine. Uber and Lyft are very handy and we never had to to wait more than 8 mins, even for a shared ride.
We didn’t know we would be sharing the washing machine and dryer with the people upstairs but it was never a problem and we only saw them a couple of times. It was noisy sometimes when they walked around above us or moved the furniture around from time to time ????
The local eateries such as Regent Thai and Henry’s Hunan were great, and Bar on Delores has great staff serving cold beer. Safeway supermarket is about a 10 minute walk on Mission St and if you want to eat in get all your supplies there.
