This charming home away from home is a wonderful place for family, friends and romance. Only 2 minutes from Jiminy Peak, 15 min to Williamstown and 30 minutes to Lenox!! Book now!!! With over 2200 square feet, this new country home has plenty of space for everyone yet a very cozy feel. Each one of the 3 large bedrooms has walk-in closets and beautiful new furnishings. The master suite has a king size bed and matching furniture with a 32” Samsung LCD HDTV. The attached master bathroom has a huge Jacuzzi tub for two. Step out onto the balcony from the living room for a magnificent open view of the mountains. Enjoy a movie on your 50” Samsung smart HDTV while enjoying the heat from the wood-burning stove. The enclosed basement can be used as a playroom or den with a bar and bar stools, an office with a desk and new HP printer, or as a closed-off 4th bedroom with a couch that opens up into a queen sized bed. Another Samsung 50” Smart TV is there. Explore the 16 acres of trails on the property and hike your way to the golf course in the back. If you have kids, there are swings and slides on the property for their enjoyment. There's also an attached 2 car garage so that you can come directly into the warm house after a long day of skiing.

And don't forget that just 2 miles down the road is Jiminy Peak - offering skiing and snowboarding day and night in the winter and mountain coaster and rides in summer. We are located about 25 minutes from Tanglewood. Or drive ten minutes down the road to the Clark Museum in Williamstown and enjoy some Monet and Renoir. Or fifteen minutes down the other direction to the city of Pittsfield for some wonderful restaurants and shops- as well as a beautiful lake for swimming. And don't forget that we are only 2 hours and 40 minutes from NYC.

Due to Homeaway/VRBO changes with booking process, I am not given your phone number or email address until booking is confirmed. Therefore, if you book through this site, it is only tentative until I communicate with you directly to be sure our property is a good fit for your needs and have accepted your booking by sending you a rental agreement, which must be returned within 12 hours. In the event our home is not a good fit for you, Homeaway should promptly refund the deposit and any other fees. I am sorry for this convoluted process. I do not like it at all, but Homeaway/VRBO is forcing us to do it this way. I hope that won't deter you from renting from us. We intend for you to have an experience you will want to repeat!

House is disinfected and sanitized after every guest by housekeeper who wears mask and gloves. At least 24 hours between cleaning and next guest check-in. Contact-less check-in and check-out.

Family friendly & great location

We highly recommend this house. The accommodations and the many amenities helped make our family’s stay comfortable and enjoyable. The house is centrally located between Pittsfield, MA and Williamstown, MA. This made it convenient for our family to attend our daughter’s commencement activities at Williams College, plus expanded our choices in shopping & restaurants. Also, the host was very responsive to our questions prior to our arrival. Thanks for your hospitality Debbie :-) The ONLY recommendation for improvement would be to better post the address sign on the driveway’s entrance to the property. The sign was propped up on the ground which makes it difficult to see, especially at night.

Winter wonderland

The house was well-equipped -- we all especially loved the flannel sheets and warm comforters on the beds. Owner made sure the steep driveway was plowed when we got several inches of snow. I wouldn't recommend visiting in winter unless you have all-wheel drive (one member of our party couldn't get up the hill).

Why they chose this property

I've always loved the Berkshires. Great hiking, biking, skiing....the people are so friendly in this area. When I saw this property, I fell in love with the large bedrooms and walk-in closets. I couldn't believe the size compared to all the other houses I had seen. And the views were amazing...! It's only a short distance from Jiminy Peak, where my daughter takes ski lessons from locals who grew up in the mountains and a short distance from all the culture and activities...Come enjoy my home!

What makes this property unique

The house is very large and comfortable- as indicated by prior renters. We are so close to everything in the Berkshires- Tanglewood, Shakespeare & Company, Jiminy Peak, Williamstown museums, Mount Greylock for hiking, Lakes for boating and fishing....A great place to come and relax and enjoy everything that the Berkshires has to offer.
