The former Winzerhof is located near Spitz on the Danube, in the World Heritage Site "Wachau". The farm is located directly on the Danube Cycle Path, on the edge of an idyllic village, surrounded by vineyards and apricot gardens. The main house has 3 spacious bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, 1 small living room and a covered veranda with dining area. In the well-equipped kitchen there is another dining table for 8 persons. Opposite the main building in the annex is a fully equipped loft apartment with private bathroom and small kitchen, with dining area for 2 people. All bedrooms are equipped with satellite TV and Wi-Fi. The entire property has been lovingly restored, restored antiques and the old ship floors revised. All beds have been fitted with high quality mattresses. To improve their comfort, sleep on high-quality, sustainably produced bed linen in Austria.
It was very important to us to preserve the beautiful atmosphere and charm of the old building, with an idyllic courtyard and outbuildings. The box windows, some of them over one hundred years old, were also renovated and repaired.
On the outside stairs of the veranda, they reach the idyllic, from the outside, not visible courtyard.
There is another, covered, spacious dining area in the courtyard (former coach house) for at least 10 people.
A former brick barn with foundations from the Middle Ages can be used on request for larger events, about 30 people (seminars, family reunions, wine tasting etc). For catering there is a separate kitchen. We are happy to pass you recommendations.

The Danube Cycle Path leads directly past the "Resterhof", untouched Danube beaches are within walking distance. The next "Rollfähre" to the other bank of the Danube, is located in Spitz, about two kilometers away. The stop of the romantic "Wachaubahn" can be reached in three walking minutes, as well as the bus stop "Schwallenbach".
