Completely updated yet retains its 110 year old charm with ten foot ceilings and craftsmen woodwork throughout making this a memorable getaway. Two large casement windows open wide to bring the amazing view right into the living room. Comfortably sleeping 4 with two bedrooms and two baths one featuring a giant tub with a view of the bay. 4 guests $225.00 per night . The kitchen features hardwood floors, granite counters and service for up to 6 . A large deck with gas BBQ adjacent to the kitchen dining area is great for outside entertaining with a private garden featuring a Koi pond. Located in a quiet corner of the South Hill neighborhood with street parking and both Fairhaven shopping district and downtown Bellingham only about a mile away.

About Chris Volker

This rather large King crab came to dinner with a couple of his friends when we where visiting our son and his family in Korea. Most of the time we are in Bellingham maintaining the property you see in the pictures. My wife and I live in the downstairs flat.

We have owned this classic home for 17 years and have made the upper flat available as a VRBO property. It took a while to put everything in order but the work has been worth it. The photos tell it all. The flats are completely separate from each other.

Great for family in town

I rented this lovely space for some family that was coming into town from the Midwest. They loved the gardens, the decor, and of course the view! I would absolutely recommend this space to anyone looking to have a relaxing experience in Bellingham.

A Jewel of a Find

The flat is absolutely lovely -- sunny, spacious, immaculate, and incredibly comfortable. Chris and Sheryl are warm and gracious hosts and have paid attention to every detail. The setting has beautiful gardens and a pretty back deck; the view from the front of the house of Bellingham Bay is stunning, especially at sunset. The flat is very near to both Bellingham and Fairhaven. We look forward to returning.

Stunning VIEW - Great LOCATION

Stunning view, easy to find, amazing floor plan, great location, well appointed and INCREADIBLY CLEAN!!! So overly impressed and would recommend FIVE STAR!!! Well appointed, lots of character, so relaxing to sit on the deck and enjoy the koi pond...slept so good! Lots of stairs, but ehhh...it was a good workout!! :)

Would book this place again for certain!!!! Wish second child was going to Western just to be able to stay up here again!!! A+++
