We had 4 adults and 2 children in for a funeral for 3 nights. Landscapers came just after 4:00 pm checkin and improved the yard much. House was 'clean' but needed some love. Carpets tattered, musty smell in basement, etc. good location on narrow street. Not much on street parking. Owners car is there so 2 cars max in drive way. We got BBQ to work but was in sad shape when we arrived. Nice back patio. Good water pressure in showers and clean linens. No wine glasses. Kitchen configuration is a little awkward and causes fridge to catch on gas range. Beds are adequate.
We had a great experience staying recently for a family wedding in town. It was so much better sharing this house than getting hotel rooms for our two families with little ones. Used the washer and dryer a lot!
We really enjoyed our stay at the cottage. It was a perfect landing place while we were in town for a conference. The house was clean and well maintained. The kitchen is small and the microwave is in an awkward spot above the refrigerator, but we made it work. We hope to come back again. Thanks!
Suggestion - put a motion light on the front porch for late arrivals, we had some trouble finding the key the first night in the dark :)
The house was very nice and clean. Saved us in a pinch as our team had a last minute business trip to Salt Lake City and there were multiple conferences in town booking everything up.
Thank you for this lovely cottage! We had a fabulous time and would like to reserve it again next year.
This home is in a desirable area of Salt Lake City known as Millcreek. It's in a great location, about 25 miles to Park City, 12 miles to snowbird ski resort, 15 miles from Salt Lake International Airport and downtown. You can also walk to a grocery store and there are several good restaurants close by.
