Perfect spot on Moosehead Lake
As others have stated the pictures don’t do this cabin justice. The camp has gorgeous views. My favorite spot was the hammock in the morning waiting for the sun to poke out from behind Mt Kineo. My kids (10 & 6) spent most of the the week swimming and jumping off the dock. The private beach area was perfect for them. The water was nice and clear and not too deep. There was also tons of space outside for them to run around and ride their bikes. We spent evenings by the fire roasting marshmallows and making s’mores. There was more than enough firewood to use and our hosts even made sure there were sticks ready to go for the marshmallows. The cabin itself was the perfect size for our family of 4 and had everything we needed, including a plate of very delicious fudge when we arrived. I highly recommend this camp to anyone looking for a great spot on the lake with amazing views to relax. We’ve stayed at a couple different camps the past few years and this was by far my favorite. We’ll definitely be coming back.

Heaven on Earth!!
The pictures do not do this place justice!! McIver’s cottages are amazing!! Do yourself a favor and stay here. John and Brenda are also the kindest hosts. They helped us think through our elopement ceremony and brought cupcakes and flowers! You can swim, kayak, canoe, build a fire, and laze about on the front lawn. We saw eagles and a double rainbow. It was also the perfect location for our elopement! We got married under a close of birch trees right in front of the lake, with Mt. Kineo in the background. Perfect!! A+++

Amazing vacations
This place is amazing. Just in front of the mousehead lake and the Kineo mountain. Two private beachs, a transparent water and several spots where you can have lunch/dinner. We’ve loved this place and will come back! Owners are great!
