Very clean, and the location was perfect!
Nice place. Great location. Parking right across from hotel. We had an issue with our reservation for four nights actually being two separate reservations. One was for one night and then one was for three nights. After one night all of our keys were deactivated even though we were assured everything was ok. This happened two different times. Quite annoying to have to keep going back down to the lobby. Otherwise no other real issues and we had a great time.
Great place to stay!
Great location and the resort is top notch. Check in/out was easy, plenty of luggage trollies, and elevators are fairly quick. Coffee, lemonade, fresh popped popcorn was a nice touch in the lobby. Amenities were great, especially heated outdoor pool next to hot tub. Plenty of things for kids as well. Only negative is the $20 parking per day for a garage that doesn’t guarantee a spot if it gets full, for the price per night it should be included or guaranteed. I understand why they don’t, it’s because they use it as an incentive to get you to their sales presentation (if you go they will pay for your parking).
Room-clean and floor plan was nice (we stayed in 2 bed/2 bath). Only two suggestions would be: 1. Use a k-cup style coffee maker...it’s a pain when you have some people that want decaf and others want regular. 2. The TVs are small (32” at most), most any hotel/resort has at least 42” if not larger (at a minimum in the living room) and again for the price to stay here 32” is below expectation.
A few things that could have been better considering the price, but overall a great place to stay. I would absolutely stay here again and will recommend it to family/friends.
Perfect Family Vacation
We loved National Harbor. The Wyndham Resort was the perfect size for our family of 5. We had no trouble driving into DC and parking and loved all the choices of restaurants in National Harbor. Perfect family vacation. The only negative is the outdoor pool could be larger for the size of the resort.
Very nice and clean. Great space for our family.
The suite was great. My family and I enjoyed every moment. We had an issue with the stove but it was fixed right away. We would stay here again.
Clean!Great Location! Could do without sales pitch
We loved the room. Very clean and spacious. It was perfect for us, family of 4 plus 2 grandparents. The kitchen was fantastic, fully loaded with everything we could need. We enjoyed the pool. The location is great, we love National Harbor with all it's shops and restaurants. The owner was very responsive to all my questions. Overall a great experience and a fantastic room.
BUT... the sales pitch by Wyndham was not part of the vacation we wanted. They asked for a lot of personal financial information, including credit cards for proof of ID for all the adults. We declined and it started the vacation off on a rather sour note.
Another side note - the free circulator bus to the Outlets/casino and the closest Metro stop is no longer available.
Very close to the Metro Station that you can take directly into DC and view the Smithsonian Museums, the National Art Museum, The Kennedy Center for the Preforming Arts, The White House, The Washington Monument, The Lincoln Memorial, Mt. Vernon, Arlington National Cemetery, US Mint, US Postal Museum, Georgetown, the WW II Memorial, the Vietnam Memorial and more!
