My family (including children (7 and under)) had a magical time in this beautiful home. When not exploring the nearby hiking trails and other activities, we spent our time taking-in the beautiful decor and interesting pieces that abound in this home. We hope to stay there again!
Great spot, great house. Very clean, and one of the few dog friendly houses that was actually extremely well taken care of. Felt like an excellent vacation home. We both said as we left, we will be returning! Kids loved it too, and loved the bunk beds.
Owners more than helpful and responsive.
We have stayed here several times and can not believe the tranquility and beauty of the home and area. The owners are quick to respond to inquiries and have the house impeccable. If you want to save yourself a fortune by eating in bring some of your own food and enjoy the kitchen on the top floor with stunning views and scenery. A first class home in a pristine area owned by good people.
Our family has now had two years in a row of fun, relaxing week long vacations at this rental. The house is comfortable, clean and beautifully kept both inside and out. We most enjoy the outdoor fire area and the upstairs kitchen/living area...as we have young ones and eat most of our meals at home! The added bonus of being able to use the Whitney's Inn pool is our kids favorite...as well as the adjacent pond where they enjoy a quick canoe and catching some tadpoles! We also love that we are able to bring our furry member of the family along, making it a true FAMILY vacation. I cannot express enough how much fun we have here and how nice it really is, you need to see for yourself!
I just returned from a lovely, long girls' weekend at this property. It was the perfect place to relax after our busy days spent hiking and tubing. I cooked breakfast and dinner each day. The kitchen was stocked with every utensil/pot/ pan that I needed. There were 8 of us, and the house slept us all comfortably. The bunkhouse beds were especially fun, as well as comfortable. This home is a special place. Every nook and cranny is thoughtfully decorated. The girls in my group were all very impressed with beauty of the home. We spent our evenings playing games, working puzzles and watching a movie..all provided by the rental. All 8 of us fit on the downstairs sofa when watching the movie. The outside of the home is beautifully landscaped. We could smell the flowers as we walked from the driveway to the house. We had a yoga instructor in the group, and she taught a class in the backyard. It was the perfect setting. It was quiet..only Birds chirping, mountains in the background, and a gentle breeze. There is also a nice patio with an outdoor stove/chimney. The owners provided firewood and kindling. Our stay couldn't have been better. Lori was a pleasure to work with. Definitely choose this house for your stay in Jackson!
What a wonderful home Lori & Steve have up in Jackson, NH. My family had a great weekend, and wish we could have stayed longer! The home is impeccably clean, great for making dinners and staying warm by the fire after a day of skiing. It's a unique home in its environmentally-friendly construction, and the set-up is so fun. My nephew loved the hidden away bunk beds on the first floor. It's in a cute town, near plenty of skiing & hiking. We hope to return!
