About Bob Kendrick

This home is my private residence and was built in 2008.

Why Bob Kendrick chose Historic Downtown District

This is a jewel of a home in the center of the city which I helped design and build in 2008. I enjoy the convenience of living downtown and feel my property has the unique modern comforts of a stylish hotel with the comfort and privacy of a home. I love to travel the world but always enjoy returning to the unique culture activities Ashland has to offer, as well as the beauty of the natural surroundings.

What makes this townhome unique

Center of Downtown, yet private and secure. Beautiful roof top deck. Spacious and light filled. Secure parking. Walking distance to Oregon Shakespeare Theaters, Independent and Foreign Film Festivals, great restaurants and breweries, wineries, and Lithia Park.

Guestbook comments from the owner

Great location and beautiful home. So close to everything we could want. The rooftop deck was a refuge where we sat and enjoyed the sunset and wine. Going to the theatre was so easy since it’s only steps away. The furniture and beds where great and the entire home very clean. Bob was always available if we had any needs. We parked in a secured parking garage on the property but never really needed the car.

Excellent location and wonderful apartment

  • 5 of 5

This is a spectacular place to stay for the OSF plays or just Ashland itself. Beds are very comfortable - two very private suites -- and the furnishing are very attractive and well maintained. You can't get any closer to the OSF theaters - we literally left the apartment 15 minutes before each production. Eating dinner on the rooftop patio is truly spectacular and reminded us of being in Italy. Hosts are very accommodating and responsive. Excellent kitchen and cooking supplies are provided. We will stay here every return trip to Ashland if available!!!!

Nice condo in great location.

  • 5 of 5

Condo located right downtown. Very modern 2 bedroom, each with bathroom attached. Only issue was the noise from bar behind the building.

The property was amazing!

  • 5 of 5

The only issue is the parking garage. If you have an over sized vehicle it may not fit. However, the property managers are flexible and will try to make it work. This property is in the heart of Ashland and you can walk everywhere.

What a Magnificent Place!

  • 5 of 5

We (and another couple) stayed for a little over a week at this great place. It was wonderful and the place was every bit as pretty as the pictures. The kitchen was very well stocked with appliances and gadgets and although we only ate in a few times, you could have easily fixed meals with all the ease of cooking in your own kitchen (they even had a Kitchen Aid mixer!) Others have noted there was outside noise at night and there was some, but nothing really distracting. The location was unbeatable; we were within 3-4 blocks of everything in downtown Ashland, including a grocery store, the park, theatres, wine tasting shops, every type of shopping imaginable and great restaurants and breweries. The rooftop patio was magnificent and we would have enjoyed it more if the weather had cooperated (it was cool and rainy a few days). I highly recommend this property. We loved it!

Great place.

  • 5 of 5

We really enjoyed staying in this immaculate, stylish, contemporary townhouse. The rooftop patio was a perfect place to converse while enjoying the view across the valley. There is a garage that was available for parking but be aware that it has a low clearance so if you have a tall vehicle such as an SUV you likely won’t fit. We were able to park in a public lot across the street but the 4 hour time limit means you’ll have to move your vehicle regularly to avoid a parking ticket except on Sundays and holidays. We didn’t notice any noise or cigarette smoke from the club behind the building but did hear emergency vehicle sirens frequently along with other normal city sounds. Finding the entrance was a bit tricky as we didn’t see any obvious address markings on the door. The owner was quite accessible to help us though. Both bedrooms have their own bathroom, making this a good setup for two couples. The rules state no shoes in the house so pack some slippers. The location is also terrific since you’re basically in the middle of the downtown area above the restaurants and shops. We’d stay again.
