Beachfront Private Pool Home - A "Gold Standard Facility"

We are a "Gold Standard Facility" approved and listed under Saum's Landing, Placencia, BZ
Our home in Placencia can accommodate up to six guests comfortably and is right on a white sandy beach, spilling directly into the turquoise Caribbean sea. The rental includes two bedrooms both with queen-size beds, a queen size sofabed, two full bathrooms, large picture windows that have a fantastic ocean/island views, large living room with a panoramic view of the sea, dining area, full kitchen, ceiling fans throughout, air conditioning, DVD player, wifi internet connection, outdoor patio with lounge chairs and dining table, outdoor dining under a palapa, BBQ, a three story observation tower, (watch the sun rise over the ocean and watch it set over the lagoon), you can swim, snorkel, fish, sunbathe, or relax under the palapa. If you are more adventurous, we offer 2 kayaks at your beckon call. We invite you to stay at our beautiful home where you will have the Caribbean experience of a lifetime.

Placencia offers fabulous diving, snorkeling and fishing. Placencia's beaches are the best in Belize. Local businesses offer daily trips diving, snorkeling, fishing, sailing, cave tubing, jungle tours, or visiting Mayan Ruins. The waters are noted for permit, bonefish, tarpon and many other fish. Belize offers the world's second largest Barrier Reef as well as numerous small islands (called cayes) offshore which offer diving and snorkeling in the clear waters of Caribbean.

From the Placencia Airport you can rent a car or take a taxi to our beach house. OR A 5 minute cab ride from the Placencia Airport to Los Porticos where car, bike and golf cart rentals are available.

U.S. currency is accepted everywhere at an exchange rate of 2:1. English is spoken throughout the country.

PLEASE ALLOW 1 FULL DAY BETWEEN GUEST STAYS. Check-in is @ 3PM to 7PM (unless there are travel delays), check-out is @ 10 AM.

Great House

The house was perfect for us and we loved the pool and being located on the beach. The house was fully stocked with everything we could need. I would definitely stay there again.

Seclusion! Beautiful!

We truly enjoyed our stay at Angels Landing! My husband, myself, and our two daughters (10 & 13) took full advantage of the beautiful beach and pool, the wonderful patio and decks, the tower where we watched sunrises and sunsets and the palapa where we had some lunches! The home was well equipped! We left all the windows open during the day and got the most wonderful breeze and at night we took advantage of the air conditioning and many fans and it got cool enough for us to all be comfortable! The property owners were very responsive and helpful! This property is a little ways away from the hustle of Placencia village but we found it was perfectly between there and all of the wonderful waterfalls, horseback riding, hikes, and activities that are further north up the road. We enjoyed this location and especially the property!

Excellent location, beautiful home

The home is just as it is described, on the beach and in a beautiful location. It would have been nice to know that the only way into the house was up a steep, winding staircase so up older folks could have known what we had to deal with. Angela and Phil were the best hosts and responded to every question we had.

Belize!

Beautiful place! We swam in the pool and sea every day. You really do need a car to stay here. Angels landing is 30 min from downtown Placentia or 40 speed bumps. Since the majority of guests have spent most of the day traveling, a welcome basket of coffee and snacks would be great! Also, the beds are not very comfortable and could use an update.

Winter getaway

This property did not disappoint. Amazing place right on ocean with a private pool for an incredible price. Angie and Phil wonderful host and hostess. Well stocked kitchen with plenty of water jugs supplied. Wonderful pool seating. Great space in house. The tower was great for sunrises and sunsets. Pool temp was perfect. Easy to find location with plenty of restaurants and stores within 20-30 minutes. A vehicle is a must. Easy to get around. Excursions to do snorkeling to laughing bird national park and monkey river and rain forest are must dos. Enjoyed our massages under cabana with Lori. She was amazing. Loved the island and people. We will be back. Thanks Phil and Angie for sharing your home. Shannon

We are a couple from So. California. We enjoy sailing, snorkeling, fishing, wildlife and the beach.

Why they chose this property

We are die hard sailors. We choose Belize for it's pristine waters, beautiful culture, and it's friendly people. It is part of the Caribbean that still remains untouched. We have retired in Belize. When we are here, we find ourselves totally relaxed within hours of our arrival. There's no other place we'd rather be!
